Winters are setting in here in Pune and since this is my first one in this city, I am enjoying the cool breeze that starts in the evening with my cup of cocoa. I also find myself reaching out for mascaras this year, I picked this Deborah Milano up as it looked promising and wand and applicator looked a bit different. I am a fan of unique wands and Deborah claims that this is a patented style of wand, so I had to go for this.

Price:

Rs. 575/- for 12 ml

Though it varies at different websites, I found mine at Shoppers’ Stop.

Claims:

Packaging:

It comes in a sleek gold radiant tube with curves to give it a sexy look.These curves also provide a nice grip while holding the mascara tube and wand for application. I quite like this beauty in my kitty and mere sight of it make me go wow! The gold color has a rich and glossy feel to it. there is no outer box packaging to it.

My take on Deborah Milano Absolute Hi-Tech Mascara Nero Black :

I absolutely adore the mascara, the color may not be the blackest black but I have no complaints in this regard. The formula is just perfect, neither very runny nor drying. The wand is the selling point for this mascara, it has been designed exclusively for 3D look for your lashes.The wand is bulging out at three places to coat each one of the lashes, it is smart enough to grab individual lashes and coat them equally. I usually poke my eye while using mascara but since this one does not have a pointy end I could easily reach the inner corner of the eyelashes and coat those tiny lashes as well, which are always left behind. I have poker straight lashes so I always use an eyelash curler before applying the mascara, but I am sure that it would do as great without an eyelash curler.

It voluminizes, curls, lengthens my lashes as it claims. The most loved feature about this mascara is that it builds up with every coat and does not clump. You can actually control the length if one does want to go overboard. I like to keep it restricted to 2 coats while going for work and for the evening you can go up to 4 coats for that extra length and volume. Only sad thing about this mascara is that it is not a swipe and run thing, so you might want to take out time for applying this or it can be messy but you won’t regret these 5 minutes you take out to enhance your lashes.It takes a minute to dry and blinking lashes can cost you extra time. It is not waterproof but is tear-resistant for sure, I cried my eyes out but not a single trace of mascara flaked down. The staying power is good, it stayed for me all day and can be easily removed with your cleanser if you don’t have a makeup remover handy. It did not smudge or make my eyes feel heavy.

I am totally happy with this one! A must-try for everyone.

I couldn’t find any con for this one but let’s just say the waterproof quality would have been an add-on.
