Hello all,

Finally I got to review this baby! I had been waiting for this since ages but with all the online sales going on, the delivery was extremely slow. Anyway, let’s get to know this product a bit more!

Product Description:

CC Cream stands for “colour control” or “colour correcting” cream, the new must-have in makeup. The latest concept in multi-tasking products, featuring a nourishing, non-greasy formula providing optimal long-lasting foundation coverage as well as SPF protection.

My Experience with Deborah Milano CC Cream 8 in 1 Creamy Correcting Foundation:

This one comes in a chocolate brown plastic case with details printed in beige. It looks very classy, but the surface catches all your finger prints. It has a click-to-open sort of mechanism. There is a decent sized mirror, the foundation cake and below it there’s a section for the sponge. The packaging is compact, the way I like it.
I think it comes in just a single shade. I bought it online though and it had just one shade that looked darker than my skin tone, so I bought it, thinking the shades online are always lighter than what they appear. This one however is a tad bit lighter than my skin tone, but I can work with it.

The foundation is creamy to touch and apply. It is quite thick, I’ll say it’s a thick cream compact. When you apply it on the face it feels lighter than a foundation and when you touch it, it feels like you’ve applied powder compact.
I like this concept because except for the T-zone, you don’t have to powder your entire face. I’d recommend powdering the T-zone because for me, that’s one part I just have to set.

Now coming to the application part, it’s a pain to get the product to your face. The sponge doesn’t pick up enough product and you have to really put efforts in placing the product on your face. Secondly, blending the product is too difficult. That’s because the texture is so thick, it doesn’t move easily. The application is always patchy, you have to tug and pull your skin a lot. I think here, beauty blenders might do the trick, but since I don’t have one, I don’t know!

What I do is pick up the product with my fingers and blend it. Even so, it highlights the blemishes on your face. It leaves this white cast around my nose. If you have white heads, please never use this product as it will highlight them all, and there’s nothing you can do except wipe off the entire ‘makeup’.
I don’t know why they call it colour control, because it doesn’t. It highlights your blemishes or dark spots instead of concealing them. It claims to do 8 things – prime, correct, uniform, moisturize, protect, nourish, lift-effect, pool of anti-oxidant vitamins. But NO! It doesn’t do any of those things!
Oh, and it has a typical compact smell and it stays as long as it’s on your face and I hate it!

Pros of Deborah Milano CC Cream 8 in 1 Creamy Correcting Foundation:

• Nice packaging.
• Comes with a decent sized mirror and a [useless] sponge.
• Long and promising name that makes you want to believe and buy this product.

Cons of Deborah Milano CC Cream 8 in 1 Creamy Correcting Foundation:

• Available in limited [or 1] ghostly shade that is clearly not meant for Indian skin tone. [Unless you are milky-fair].
• Highlights your face in a very bad way.
• Texture is such that no matter what you do it won’t behave.
• Hell expensive, considering it doesn’t do a thing!
• Perfect for Halloween. But sadly, you’d get to use this next year’s Halloween!
• Fragrance.

IMBB Rating: 1/5

Would I Recommend Deborah Milano CC Cream 8 in 1 Creamy Correcting Foundation: No.

Final Verdict: Need I say more? So yes, there goes Rs 1100 down the drain. I feel extremely bad now.
