I am on a foundation buying spree these days. I have many bottles to finish but I do like to wear foundation on every outing. With better skin now, I feel foundation looks better. During the festive season, I tried so many foundations and then, I saw this Self Adapting Foundation by Deborah Milano recently. I have reviewed Dress Me Perfect Concealer recently. Now, it is the turn of this foundation, read on 🙂
Only a tailor-made garment can really provide a flawless fit. A feeling of absolute comfort and weightlessness comes with an outfit that effortlessly accommodates every shape. And it’s the same feeling a woman dreams of when she applies her foundation. But wait, there’s more. Women crave a foundation that glides on perfectly, looks utterly natural and blends beautifully into their complexion. Since Deborah Milano’s mission is to meet the needs of consumers, this awareness is now driving a brand new concept in foundation creams: Dress Me Perfect. Experts at the Deborah Group Laboratories, embodying the master craftsman’s passion for tailor-made products, have created much more than a mere foundation: in addition to matching any complexion and leaving a flawless, natural-looking finish, Dress Me Perfect by Deborah Milano offers a unique innovation: the formulation actually lets skin breathe.
My Experience with Deborah Milano Dress Me Perfect Self Adapting Foundation:
First of all, I would not call it a foundation. I would call it a brightening cream or a CC cream. Somehow, this foundation has left me bewildered. This shade is very light for my skin tone, but still, this is very true to its color adapting claim. In fifteen minutes, the skin tends to drink it up. It looks like my own skin but very bright. I have light to medium skin tone and this looks like I am wearing a powder to brighten my skin. They do have a “Sand” shade available, but I think some mix and match would not harm.
Now, the foundation is slightly runny, and blends like your natural skin. In some time, it comes quite close to your own skin, but it provides no coverage at all. It only brightens the skin like a CC cream or BB cream. I find it to be matte finish with slight dewiness because it looks like a very natural foundation. The foundation blends very nicely. I think using fingers to blend it out would be a great idea.
With a blender, this foundation kind of soaked up into the sponge/blender. The skin feels very light, as if you are wearing no foundation at all. You can even avoid powder for four hours because this looks so natural and doesn’t need a proper setting. I think all skin types who would like some brightness only (no coverage) can try this foundation.
The glass bottle with a pump is friendly but I don’t think I will travel with this foundation bottle.
