Deborah Milano Lip Liner 05 Review

After stepping into the world of make-up, two make-up products that I am crazy about are: lipsticks (well who isn’t) and lip liners. After buying the staple n*de and red lip liners, I was looking for the mandatory pink liner that IMO every girl should possess. There were many pinks around, but I settled on this one due to its affordable price (I hate sharpen-able liners that are as expensive as lipsticks) and the beautiful pink shade.

The liner is in the form of a sleek, sharpen-able wooden pencil. The wooden pencil and the cap are of the same shade as the liner, with the details beautifully crafted in white. The cap fits perfectly onto the pencil. The packaging is simple and elegant.

My Take on Deborah Milano Lip Liner 05:

Colour: The shade 05 is a beautiful true Rani-Pink (just wanted to use the word because it is my nickname ha ha ha). Jokes apart, it is the most apt description of the colour in one word. The colour is an absolutely rocking fuchsia. Neither too loud nor too soft, it is a subtle fuchsia pink.

Texture: At this price, you would probably expect the texture to be terribly stiff. But no madam, the texture is very creamy and soft. It is so creamy that a little pressure might break the tip. It glides smoothly on the lips without tugging and pulling. When used solely as a liner, it is not drying. But if applied on the lips fully, it tends to dry out the lips. It does not smudge but transfer a bit initially.

Pigmentation: Its pigmentation in one word is awesome. It gives absolute opaque coverage in one stroke. If you still wish to darken the colour, a second stroke gives a bold fuchsia colour.

Lasting Power: This feature of the lip liner is also very good. It lasts easily for about 4-5 hours as a liner with even fading. It does its job well in restricting bleeding of the lipstick. When applied all over lips, it lasts for about 3-4 hours.

Overall Thoughts:

I am extremely satisfied with this product. It offers everything that a lip liner ought to. The colour goes well with all fuchsia-toned lipsticks and enhances their beauty. IMO, a lip liner is a must, especially for bold colours. I am so happy this turned out good as it was an online and blind buy.

Would I Recommend/ Re-purchase Deborah Milano Lip Liner 05?

In this era of ever-increasing prices, this does not burn the pocket and does its job well. I would definitely repurchase it when I finish this one. I would like to try out other colours in this range. Yes, I will definitely recommend this to everyone owing to its beautiful colour, creamy texture and long-lasting nature.
