I have been dabbling with anti-aging skin care products for the past couple of years. It is essential to start using anti-wrinkle products before the wrinkles start to appear. I shell out extra money on my face cream and my eye cream. Face masks and lip balms can be from the drugstore brands but for the former two – for me at least – must be from a trusted brand. My Experience with Derma E Anti-Wrinkle Advanced Antioxidant Moisturizer:
This product comes in a 2 oz size jar. The jar appears to be of a decent size and there is another smaller jar inside. The packaging is sturdy, leak-proof and I admire its simplicity. It is not unnecessarily bulky like some high-end face creams’ packaging.
The product is in the form of a usual thick moisturizing lotion and is dense like a cold cream. It does not add intense hydration as I desire so I use it in the combination of a face oil. The crème is white in color and has a faint floral fragrance. It is easy to spread on face and gets absorbed quickly. It can be the last step in the skin care routine for most of us, but like I mentioned, I need to mix it with a face oil to add more moisture to my face.
This product claims to contains a high concentration of Vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate) which is apparently also known as “skin vitamin”. It has surface cell renewal properties and prevents deep lines and wrinkles. It contains green tea extract which imparts the antioxidant properties to this product and claims to be especially beneficial for sun or environmentally damaged skin.
I have been using this product for a month now as part of my night time skincare routine. I did not notice an exceptional change in the texture of my skin but the product is not complete trash either. When I wake up in the morning, I still find my skin well hydrated and soft. If somebody is looking for an affordable, daily moisturizer then it is perfect, and since it did not cause any acne to me, I am sure it will suit most skin types.
This product is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil-free, lanolin-free, gluten-free and GMO-free. To some, these features might not seem important but to some, including me, they do matter and hence are a selling point. Apart from the high concentration of vitamin A it also contains vitamin E, safflower seed oil and jojoba seed oil.
