My Experience with Dermalogica Clean Start All Over Clear
I have oily, acne prone skin and have been using this toner for almost 4-5 months, so I think I can write a fair review on this product now. The packaging is pretty functional and convenient! It comes in a small cylindrical bottle with a spray attachment at the top.
I spritz some toner on my face and neck after washing my face with a cleanser. There’s no need to use cotton balls or pads. It evaporates quickly under the fan, hydrates the skin and leaves an amazing cooling sensation behind. Toner is clear, watery and colorless.
Although this product has received rave reviews from a lot of people, I failed to notice any significant change in my skin even after 3 months of continuous use. I stopped for a month, and the skin remained the same. It didn’t prevent any acne outbreaks or blackheads nor did it control the oiliness of my skin. It’s as good as not using anything. The toner is refreshing with strong citrus scent and that’s the precise reason
To summarise the pros and cons:
Pros of Dermalogica Clean Start All Over Clear
• Convenient packaging
• No need for cotton balls, so good for travelling
• Refreshing citrus scent
• The cute bottle can be reused after finishing the product
Cons of Dermalogica Clean Start All Over Clear
• Expensive
• Not widely available in India
• Didn’t do anything for my skin!
My rating: 2.75/5
Last word: it wasn’t very effective on me, but I would like to point out that this product is very popular and has received loads of positive reviews. Just because it didn’t work for me, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad product.

your review started well and I thought wow nice stuff and was all set to find out details but sad that it turned out to be a dud..nothing better than rose water toners I think (or lately tomato slices :))
tomato slices sounds good aru! although i wud end up eating them. this toner was quite a disappointment…i had such high hopes! 🙁
Nice revu an dte packing looks nice…
🙂 🙂 🙂
Nice review! bad it didnt work for u!
thanks ila 🙂
how lame is that… 😐 I hate it when products dont do anything for you skin. I mean dont they test the products before launching them in the market. 😐
yeah it’s annoying when you decide to cough up a lot of money thinking it’d be better quality! 🙁 vicco turmeric is still better at clearing up the skin compared to this 🙂
Ditto…me too thought it was great product with the start of your review…bad didn’t do anything 🙁
yea…this one was not much good :-/
Oh 🙁 I have heard mixed reviews with Dermalogica..
