Dermalogica Climate Control Lip Treatment Review

A new Dermologica counter has opened up at Shopper’s Stop, Inorbit (Malad). Last time I visited, I got my face mapping done and was suggested the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, I loved that product.

So, during my another visit to Shopper’s Stop, I did not hesitate to invest in few more products from them. And today, here I am with one of them. Today I will be reviewing the Dermalogica Climate Control Lip Treatment. Nice name, isn’t it? Let’s see what this lip treatment has to offer.

Product Description:

Lip balm soothes dry, damaged lips. Helps heal acutely damaged skin and provides a barrier against future climatic assaults. Shea Butter enhances barrier function of the lips, as a unique extract blend shields against pollution, temperature extremes, stress, and hormonal factors. My experience with Dermalogica Climate Control Lip Treatment:

Packaging: The lip balm comes in a simple transparent retractable bullet packaging with a protective cap. The packing is simple, cute and travel friendly.

Consistency and Smell: The lip balm is off white in colour and has nice smooth buttery consistency. When I say buttery, it means that the lip balm is not at all waxy. Rather, it is smooth and glides easily on my lips. I just love the feel of this lip balm on my lips. Plus, it is not at all sticky or waxy i.e. it does not seal my lip when they are pressed against each other. The smell is exactly like Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate.

Results: The lip treatment is so smooth and super light that I never feel that there’s a lip balm on my lips. Next, previously when I used to apply other lip balms, after few hours they would settle into the lips and make them dry and flaky. But, this lip treatment almost gets drunk up by my dry lips. It leaves no whitish cast or dry residues on lips. Instead, on one application my lips remain pink and soft for 24 hours!!

As I already mentioned, lips don’t stick even when pressed against each other which usually happens with me while using baby lips or other lip balms. So, in that case, I feel Dermalogica Climate Control Lip Treatment is the best. The final texture of this lip balm is not too glossy; it gives smooth and lovely feel to lips without much gloss.

Initially, I didn’t understand what the climate control claim is about, but with regular usage I have understood that this lip treatment acts as a barrier between the external environment and our lips. Thus, preventing moisture loss from lips, and believe me this property of the lip balm is what makes it a clear winner because if no moisture loss, no lip chapping! So, clearly a winner this is. I recommend this to everyone.

Yes. Any day I will recommend this to every lady. I will surely get this lip treatment again as soon as I finish my current bullet.
