DermOrganic Daily Hydrating Conditioner Review

DermOrganic Daily Hydrating Conditioner Review

Hi Beauties,

Continuing with my review of the Daily Conditioning Shampoo by Dermorganic, today I will be reviewing the Daily Hydrating Conditioner.  Around a year back, when I first heard about the “no silicone” hair conditioners, I wanted to try one to see whether it gave as good a result as the normal silicone ones. I have been using this conditioner, along with the shampoo since one year, and I am now ready to review it for all of you.

DermOrganic Daily Hydrating Conditioner

Product Description:

Price:

My Experience with DermOrganic Daily Hydrating Conditioner:

This line of products from Dermorganic contains Argan oil as their USP. They have got five products in this line: The Daily Conditioning Shampoo, The Daily Hydrating Conditioner, The Intensive Hair Repair Masque, The Leave – In Treatment and The Leave – In Shine Therapy. All have certified Argan oil from Morocco as their main constituent.  As like the shampoo, the packaging of the conditioner is exactly similar. In fact, if not for the label, I would be utterly confused trying to make out which is which. It comes in a dark amber colored plastic bottle with a pump mechanism, which can be twisted to open/closed position. This makes it hygienic and very safe for travel.

The conditioner is also shiny white in color, albeit a bit thicker than the shampoo. It has a very nice fragrance, just like the shampoo. I tend to use 2-3 pumps of the product and carefully coat my hair strands (avoiding the roots) with it. I like to keep it on for 5 minutes before rinsing it off. Since it does not have any silicones, it rinses off quite easily. It does not leave any slimy, waxy silicone-y feel on the hair.

Now for the post drying phase. I have normal to dry, fine, straight hair. In summers, I find it to be a very nice and adequate conditioner for my hair. My hair feels very soft, smooth and silky, with no artificial shine. My hair actually shines like healthy hair does. My hair is less tangled, and I find it very easy to comb my hair post drying. There are no flyways. Overall, my hair is bouncy, very manageable, but does not lie flat on the head. The effects last for 3-4 days, after which I anyway re-wash my hair.

However, in winter, I find this conditioner to be a bit lacking. Though it does work well, I find my hair a bit drier with flyways. There is no static or frizzy feel, but overall, the feeling is not as great as in the summer months. I think, in winters, when my hair is more dry than usual, the Dermorganic Intensive Hair Masque would be a more suitable choice for conditioning the hair. People with oily hair may find the conditioner suitable even in winters. However, for people with thick, coarse, very dry or chemically treated hair, I would suggest using the Intensive Masque all year long. The masque is a richer version of the conditioner.  I have used the intensive masque in winters, and absolutely loved it. However, I find it a bit too rich for my hair in summers now. Since I am now finished with it and haven’t purchased a new bottle (I will repurchase the masque when winter approaches), I could not put forward a separate review for the masque.

IMBB Rating:

4/5 (in winters), 5/5 (in summers)

I am in complete love with this line of hair wash products. I use this conditioner in summers, and the intensive masque in winters. People with oily to combination to normal hair types will find the conditioner good throughout the year. People with very coarse, dry, damaged hair should opt for the masque instead. All these products are full of nutrients, and without any silicones in it. There will be no build up on your scalp, and you will actually start feeling that your hair is clean and nourished with that natural sheen and bounce to it.
