Detox Diet to Lose Weight

These days, most of us have bloating issues more than excessive weight issues. You become bloated because of the unhealthy lifestyle practices and many other reasons. And, when you want to wear that perfect bodycon dress, then you need to suck in that 1-2 inches from the tummy. Now, sucking your stomach is not always going to work. So, what you can do is switch to some detox diets.

So, here we are listing down some of the best detox diets for a week to lose weight. This will make your planning easier.

Day 1:

Breakfast: Detox Smoothie. You can try various detox smoothies with frozen fruits like strawberries, banana, kiwi, raspberries, or blueberries. Additionally, you can use vegetables like spinach or kale. Try to avoid sugar or any sweetening agents.

Lunch: You can have a big bowl of salad here. The choice of salad ingredients completely depends on you. I like to have tiny chicken chunks with tons of lettuce leaves and vinegar dressing. So, you can pick your favorites and make your own salad. I would suggest you not to go by any traditional salad recipes. Just make your own and enjoy it.
Many times, it happens with me that the salad bowl is big enough, so I eat it half and keep the remaining for an evening snack. You can also do the same.

Dinner: For dinner, you can have detox meals. There are plenty of options in detox meals like lettuce wraps, vegetable chili, veggie omelet, or overloaded baked potato.

Day 2:

On day 2, you can continue with the same recipe of Day 1. The key is to include at least 2 detox diets every day. So, on both first and second day have detox smoothie and detox meals.

Day 3:

Now, on day 3, we will tweak the meal plan a bit. You can start your day with the detox smoothie and can have another round of detox smoothie in the afternoon too. At night, you can have one big bowl of salad. This is done to ensure that you have correct water level in your body.

Day 4:

You need to continue the same recipe of Day 3 on the 4th day as well. You can change the options to make the detox week fun and exciting. This way you can control your cravings too.

Day 5:

Begin your day with a detox smoothie. And then have detox lunch with chicken breast or whatever you like. And in the evening, you can have a light bowl of salad.

Day 6:

Continue the same diet routine of Day 5.

Day 7:

Greek salad with fresh vegetables, feta cheese and black olives. Top view

Begin and end your day with a detox smoothie. And then you can have your salad as a dinner.

So, if you follow this detox diet routine, then not only will you lose weight in a healthy manner but you will also be able to retain the water and protein level in your body.
