Today I would be reviewing multi-use wipes from Dettol. We all are well aware of this brand. We all have used its antiseptic in the classic glass bottle for all those cuts and wounds as kids as well as now. 😛 The green pack of Dettol wipes caught my attention when I was looking for some wet-wipes. I had just purchased it as hand/face wipes and did not have much expectations from it. But I am really impressed with this product.
It is multi-use wipes that can be used for both skin and surfaces. It is pH neutral and alcohol free.
Rs.45 for 10 pieces
My experience with Dettol multi-use wipes:
As I mentioned above, I had simply purchased it as hand wipes on the go. But it is such a great cleansing wipe that you will forget about any other wipe you would have ever used! On my trip, I used it to clean my feet once when it had visible dirt from roaming around in slippers. These wipes cleaned them up perfectly without drying it at all.
At night, I used this for face cleansing and loved it. One is enough for your entire face including your lips. If heavy eye makeup is done, a separate one may be required for eyes alone. The pack mentions that it is pH neutral and I completely agree with it. It also claims to be containing emollients that moisturise. Well, it does provide decent moisturization. However, since I have dry skin, it made my cheeks a little stretchy. It went off after some time, though. But extreme dry skin ladies would have to follow up with a moisturizer. Also, if rubbed repeatedly, it could be a little harsh. So, try to be gentle with it and it will give you no reason to complain.
It does not work effectively on waterlines, since direct contact with eyes would cause irritation. There is no issue with the liner removal which is on lid though. Basically, it should be used on eyes only when they are close. So, yes a separate eye makeup remover may be required for waterline. I don’t mind this since I use Johnson’s baby shampoo for removing my kajal.
Overall, it is a good cleansing wipe which will be highly useful when travelling. Also, it can be used for quick makeup removal on lazy days. 😀 Take a look at the below hand swatches. I do not own a lot of makeup products. So, tried with few of the ones I had.

Cons of Dettol Multi-Use Wipes:
1. Loaded with chemicals
