Dettol Natural Nourishing Body Wash

Dettol Natural Nourishing Body Wash

Hola!

I am sure all of us have used Dettol soap at some point in our life. I have used it throughout schooling and college and being the cleanliness freak that I am, I still use Dettol while taking bath or for washing clothes. Basically, I feel “clean-clean” whenever I use Dettol.  So, when they released their body wash range, I was jumping with joy. I prefer body washes over soap because of hygiene and used to absolutely adore Palmolive Milk and Honey.  Unfortunately, they discontinued that and since then, I have used a few assorted products.

Dettol Natural Nourishing Body Wash

Dettol body wash is just like any other regular body wash.  It smells nice and surprisingly does not have the typical Dettol smell. The smell does not linger much and is not as luxurious as “The Body Shop” or even “Lux” for that matter. It does make the skin a little dry.  I get the stretchy feeling after bath, especially now in winters. It claims to contain extracts of natural olive and almond, but I could not discern much from the fragrance at least. It is a semi-transparent liquid with runny consistency and lathers well with a loofah.

  1. Simple sa body wash it is…hehe…me read in wikipedia..bodywashes are not eco-friendly as compare to soaps.soaps have bio-degradeable ingredients but body washes dont have such…so it is difficult to recyle water in sewage plants if it have more non bio-degradable stuffs n chemicals…i have left using bodywashes for the sake of enviornment…atleast m doing my part…everyone is welcome to correct me in this if m lacking somewhere…thnx

  3. One more update…I wrote this when it was still winter in B’lore. Now that summer has started full swing, this is quite good 🙂

  4. I just saw it at the market today and bought it!! 😀 I guess this was launched in India recently because I visit the supermarket often! I have been waiting for a body wash from Dettol. Will use it and see if it’s worth it! 🙂 Lux range of shower gels have good smell but they seem to dry me out more!! 🙁
