My experience with Diana of London Absolute Moisture Lip Liner – Raspberry Sorbet:
I had ordered a few lipliners from Diana of London 2-3 months back. I have already reviewed it in colors Cardinal Red and Nude Cherry. I loved the texture, pigmentation and colors of both these lipliners and have already finished half of these. The third shade I have is Raspberry Sorbet. I have just started using this and thought I should review it. I am glad Diana of London Absolute Moisture lipliners come in sharpenable pencils rather than the retractable pencils. I can never store safely the retractable liners and end up breaking them. Moreover, pencil liners are more hygienic. The pencil needs to be sharpened after 3-4 uses and the tip isn’t so soft that it breaks everytime I use it.
Raspberry Sorbet is a deep maroon color with hints of purple in it. The color is totally matte and has no shimmer or glossy touch in it. This color will suit all skin tones well. It is a perfect color to wear at offices and won’t wash out any skin tones. The staying power of this lipliner is absolutely amazing. It easily stays on my lips for about 6 hours. It doesn’t fade unevenly.
It glides on very smoothly and softly on my lips. There’s no need for any tugging or pulling. It isn’t drying but I prefer to apply a lipbalm beneath it because of the matte outcome. A lipbalm beneath it will be must in winters. It doesn’t have any weird fragrance. It isn’t sticky and doesn’t smudge or bleed at all. Because of the sharp tip, it gives a proper definition to lips. The pigmentation of this lipliner is excellent. A single swipe covers the pigmentation of my lips completely.
