Today I will review one of the products from my darling company Diana of London. I like DOL’s lipsticks, so I thought to try their glosses as well. I was looking for a peachy shade so I chose shade no 02 Peach. The gloss has name juicy pulp, which is the attribute we look in a gloss. So, what else! I went for it.

Product Claim:

The New Juicy Pulp Lip – Gloss is a very latest texture that combines lip-gloss as well as the traditional lipstick. It has the shimmering & creamy touch of glosses. It acquires coverage & long lasting advantage. It is more voluminous & gives to lips a sensation of thickness without being heavy; its longwearing formula keeps this sensation for hours.

My experience with Diana of London Juicy Pulp Lip Gloss – Peach:

DOL lip gloss comes in a long tubular bottle with smart blue cap. The shade of blue is very attractive and eye catching. The packing is classy and sturdy. The shade name is printed at the base of the gloss. Name, claim and other details are mentioned over the body of gloss tube. The applicator is smooth and helpful. The texture of the product is smooth. While applying on the lips, I noticed that it has lot of shimmer which is noticeable more over lips and less in hand swatches. It is more like a party shimmery shade than a classy sober peach. I can say that its a frosty peach shade. I was bit disappointed with this extra shimmer effect. Hence I use it over like shade lipsticks, most of the time. Since it gives silver shiny effect, it will not suit everyone. No doubt it gives juicy plump effect to the lips but in its limitations. It appears a bit thick over lips but good part is it is non sticky. The pigmentation is good. The staying power is average. It stays for 3-4 hours and leaves shimmer behind. So overall, if the shade suits you and you are okay with the shimmer, it will please you.

May be, this particular shade has disappointed me. Other shades of this series may have better results!
