This was my first ever DOL lippy in soft plum and I was disappointed by the kind of shades they have! all of them very metallic-y and loud I thought, and I had lost hope of finding a creamy wearable shade for myself! but when i happened to go to Angel here in Chennai, I managed to see a lot more shades, well most of them were brought but some were the nude types, and this one of course was my fav pinky maroon shade.
The price and the packaging dont go hand in hand, I find the packaging well made but very bright, it is thought about but it is not appealing, it is not cheap quality but somehow it lacks appeal and class! I am sorry if you dont agree, may be they can make it slimmer and not so shinier you know. Anyway what I got inside was world-class!
The shade is a creamy pinky maroon and mix of plum burgundy but more or less this is my kinda shade as it s a soft creamy shimmer-less shade! The texture is creamy and smooth and when you glide it you can feel how infused it is with moisture. The finish is very creamy luscious glossy and not OTT. I usually use three swipes of all lipsticks but if you want to tone it down a single coat could look mind-blowing it is a beautiful shade!
The pigmentation is excellent, it is smooth and moisturizing and the color is right, not to mature a maroon and not too light a pink I find this very sophisticated for me. I like how it shines but not glossy but just right creamy shine. Dry lips would love it too.
The quantity feels great too, the pack is sturdy, great for travel and the lippy does not dent or break, everything is fine but the silvery packing, which is fine too but when you get a great product inside, you feel everything else should be perfect too. It has no odor more or less so makes for a great lipstick for me in every way!
Here is the cherry on the cake, it is really long lasting, two or three coats lasted me from 11 am to 3 pm and after 3 pm too it has gone matte but I had a lot of color on (remember I use three swipes minimum) It survived my breakfast, chai, lunch and it was still going strong. So it is not that light moisturising kind of a product, you get some solid color and stuff in there, it might be as good in moisture as the mayebline moisture extreme but it stays way toooooo long, isnt it fanstastic!

I am 100% satisfied with this purchase, long lasting, smooth, pigmented, creamy, luscious and yet wont bleed at all and a great color, I got everything possible in 525! I cant ask for more, the packing too is not so bad that I have to give it a minus point!
