Five days back my sister visited her maayke means our place after Eid. To enjoy the beauty of Saawan and to spend quality “sisters time” we went strolling around the town and finally went shopping with all those heavy discount offers. While we were returning from the mall it started raining heavily and we both were soaked from head to toe when we reached home. Actually the moment we entered our township we asked chauffer to drive the car to home and we stepped into the park just behind our house, enjoyed the rain and reached home after like half an hour.

In our home after we settle into our night gowns with a cup of hot chocolate we started discussing about stlylish kurtis, chic ballerinas and yes of course water proof makeup that is oh so apt no matter what- be it summers or be it rains. I told her how much I am missing my Diana of London lippy that I missed somewhere probably I dropped it somewhere when I was carrying it in my clutch few days back. Listening to it she handed over this lippy in shade no.19 Icy Brown to me with a promise that she will take me to Diana of London counter once I visited her place, this is quite an alluring promise to me as there is no Diana of London outlet in my town. I am using this lipstick since four days and how it fared on me, read on to know more.

My take on Diana of London 2000 Kisses Wonderful Lipstick Icy Brown

I love subtle n*de lip shades as they not only imparts a soft dash of colour to your face but also gives a pulled together neat professional look- and the colour of this lippy falls in this category only. The lippy is brown with a beige undertone and has a metallic finish. The texture is just perfect I mean neither too runny nor too thick that you have to drag the applicator on your lips to apply it. The sponge in the doe footed applicator is easy to work and picks the correct amount of the product. Since this is a long lasting lippy so is bleed proof and yes transfer proof as well- once dried it sets into a soft matte finish without accentuating the imperfections of the lips. However it is not very long lasting one and it vanishes from my lips after like 3-4 hours after which I need to reapply it for a fresh look- however the good point is that it fades evenly and never leaves you with stained lips like some other long lasting lip products do.
