Diana of London Light Buff Backstage Concealer Review

Hello to all the amazing IMBB readers!

Today I am going to share this amazing product from Diana of London, the backstage concealer in shade Light Buff.

Diana of London Light Buff Backstage Concealer (6)Price and quantity: INR 575 for 5 grams.

Shelf life: Not mentioned.

My experience with Diana of London Light Buff Backstage Concealer :

Packaging: The packaging of the concealer is very boring and resembles that of a lipstick. However, it is made up of high quality plastic, is sturdy, hygienic and quite travel-friendly. The cap of the concealer shuts with a click. It also has the shade name written on a sticker which is pasted on its bottom. I personally prefer this kind of packaging over the pot ones for obvious hygiene reasons.

Coverage: I mainly use this product to conceal my dark circles under the eyes. It has not disappointed me in that area but, I really didn’t have very intense dark circles to begin with. So, I cannot comment if it would provide suitable coverage for deeper under eye dark circles. However, this has fared well enough for me in providing the adequate coverage. It also covers the dark shadowy area on the sides of my face to a great extent. Still, I don’t think it that it will be able to cover hyper pigmentation or sun spots very easily.

Blending/absorption: The concealer gets absorbed in my skin in a jiff and leaves a smooth looking skin. So, girls who are always in a hurry can give this one a try. This blends in easily without much effort too.

Texture: The texture of the concealer is creamier on first, glides on easily but soon turns powdery and settles into a matte finish which I personally love. I have a combination skin. This concealer does not make my oilier skin look oily and does not look patchy after some hours. However, I don’t think girls with dry skin will love it as much as oily skinned beauties. They may also give this product a skip or use a moisturizer under it.

Available shades: this concealer is available in 5 shades. The shades are Classic Ivory, Light Buff (that I have chosen), Nude Beige, Warm Fawn and Sand Beige. I feel that it offers a great shade selection as compared to Lakme absolute white intense concealer stick and Clinique Airbrush concealer that I had previously used and many girls will be able to find their match in this range.

Staying power: The concealer stays on intact for 4-5 hours after which it does not look so fresh. I think the staying power will further reduce in summers, which is a major con for me as I am in love with this product and would have to look for its substitute to use in the scorching heat and humidity of July and August.
