In this post, I’ll be reviewing a brilliant red lipstick from Diana of London. I am loving this This is the first time I’m trying this brand and so far I’m loving it. Let’s get to see how this baby fared for me!

My Experience with Diana of London Party Red Diana Matic Lipstick:
Packaging: This lipstick comes in a very sleek packaging. The packaging is color coded so the shade can be easily identified very easily. The details are printed in white around the lipstick. I really like how sleek the packaging is. The lipstick doesn’t fully rotate backwards, it stays outside hence there are chances of it getting nipped while opening or closing the tube. That’s the only drawback I could find.
Color and Pigmentation: “Party Red” is a true red shade. It looks pinkish red under some lighting, but it really is a brilliant red shade. It has a little bit blue undertones to it, but you can’t call it a blue-based red. Can you tell I’m obsessed over this red shade? This is a very flattering shade that would suit all skin tones and all undertones. The pigmentation is insane! One swipe and you get 100% pigmentation. You really don’t have to go back in for a second coat.
Texture: This is a semi-matte finish lipstick. It is extremely creamy and glides on very smoothly on the lips. It doesn’t feel drying at all because it is so creamy. It doesn’t emphasize dry patches on your lips but will cover them up. I really love the texture. It initially is a creamy finish lipstick, but as time passes, it becomes more matte, but the final result is a semi-matte finish. It feels very comfortable on the lips.
Staying Power: This lipstick stays on for 7-8 hours with a little fading. It survives meal and snacks but fades a little bit. It does transfer but still the lips look pigmented enough. Usually creamy lipsticks don’t stay this long. Even after 7 hours, the pigmentation is there, but just a little faded.
