Hi guys,

My Experience with Diana of London SSL02-Super Blue Super Star Liner:

blue pencil eyeliner

The eyeliner pencil is a sharpenable one. The pencil is golden yellow in colour with a colour-coded base, which makes it pretty easy to spot in vanity. The pencil has the product details mentioned in black fonts. The pencil has a clear plastic cap that fits very securely and does not come off while carrying around. So, it is absolutely purse-friendly. It does not come with any sharpener. The product says that it is a waterproof and smudge-proof smoky kajal.

eyeliner shade name

Super Blue, as the name suggests, is a gorgeous bright blue shade. I had Colorbar Blue Topaz I-Glide Eye Pencil, which is very similar to this shade and far better in quality as compared to this one. Keep reading to know why. The colour is so pretty and vibrant. This blue colour brightens up my face instantly. The shade is very bright and it cannot be carried easily to office or college. It is just perfect to be worn at evening parties or night time. It is a perfect matte blue eyeliner and free of any shimmers or glitters. I am happy that it is not shimmering.

blue eyeliner packaging

I was initially amazed with the quality of the eyeliner. It is so smooth and glides like butter on the eyelids without any tugging or pulling. I really love how soft this pencil is! Even though the eyeliner is so soft, the tip of the eyeliner does not break. The application is really effortless. It is almost feathery light and very pigmented indeed. The colour payoff is great; two swipes are required to make the colour pop on the eyes. The eyeliner is pretty safe to be used on the waterline also. It glides easily on my waterline but I need to follow with multiple swipes to build up the colour on my waterline. The product is ophthalmologically tested also.

tip blue eyeliner

The kajal is not very easy to blend. I really need to work to blend it properly. Still, it does not smudge nicely and starts to peel off like an eraser dust. So, I just hate how it flakes. It flakes even more if I apply multiple swipes to build up the colour. I have observed that it flakes so much just after application though the intensity of flaking lowers down once the eyeliner sets completely. But, it still comes off on my hand if I touch it.

Removing the eyeliner is super easy. It does not stain the eye area and gets removed in just one go. The eyeliner lasts for approx. 6 hours on my lids without any fading if I don’t even touch it a little. The colour is pretty, texture is super smooth but it does flake badly. It immediately peels off easily with a slight touch and the eyeliner gets patchy. It stays for 2-3 hours hardly on my waterline but does not smudge at all. So, it lives upto its waterproof and smudge-proof claim.

Overall, I am not entirely happy with the product. I will prefer the Sugar Cosmetics & Colorbar I-Glide ranges.
