My Experience with Diana of London Sweet Burgundy Absolute Moisture Lip Liner:
The lip liner comes in a burgundy color-coded packaging with a clear cap. I like this color-coded pencil and it is totally travel-friendly. It needs to be sharpened and it doesn’t come with any sharpener. The quality is nice and sturdy and it doesn’t require frequent sharpening. Also, there is less wastage due to sharpening and the product is decently priced.
Sweet Burgundy is a unique shade that I have never tried before. As the name suggests, this is a very sweet and soft burgundy shade with a hint of maroon in it. The shade looks very natural – not too dark like the actual burgundy color. It looks so beautiful on the lips. It has that perfect mix of boldness and softness which makes it so wearable with any makeup look. It has a warm tone which makes it apt for all skin types. It doesn’t have any shimmer in it. Also, the shade is very well pigmented. Only two swipes are needed for the perfect color pay off. It can hide pigmented lips.
It has a soft, smooth texture that glides easily on the lips and provides an even application. I can easily draw and define my lips perfectly with its smooth strokes. The lip liner has a perfect matte finish that looks so gorgeous. But it has a tendency to dry out the lips so it is better to apply a lip balm underneath. I have normal lips so I feel quite ok but if you have dry, cracked lips then it might feel dry on you. Also, this lip liner is not hydrating enough for winters. Otherwise, it is just a perfect lip liner that never transfers, never smudges and is totally waterproof.
It stays in its place perfectly for a long time. It stays for around 9-10 hours nicely on the lips. It can survive lunch nicely. The color looks faded from the centre of my lips if I wear the liner for a long time. Still, it does not look ugly or messy. I am so amazed at the longevity of this lip liner. It is easy to remove the stain from the lips. It never settles into the fines lines or crease. Overall, it’s a perfect long-lasting, smudge proof and transfer proof lip liner. And, the shade is really gorgeous! This is an amazing product to try and a great buy.
