Normal Bikini Wax:

A normal bikini wax is ideal when you want a cleanup near your bikini line. Normal bikini wax removes less hair in comparison to French bikini wax and Brazilian wax. Basically involves removal of hair around your panty line, from the inner sides and front top of your thighs close to the bikini line and the hairy patch below your navel. For a hair free bikini line, you can opt for normal bikini wax. It is great for putting on a two piece swim suit for weekend swimming sessions or prior to going on a beach holiday. Gives you a clean and tidy, hair free feeling, when you slip on your two piece swimsuit. You could also request your aesthetician to go a bit deeper on the sides if you would like some more hair removed. This procedure does not remove hair from your public region or further done. It just does a cleanup job closer to your bikini line. This waxing can be done with out removing your panty.

Brazilian Wax:

If you want to get rid of all the hair down there, opt for Brazilian wax. It is the most common type of bikini wax around the world, but painful for some ladies out there. Involves removal of hair from the entire pubic region, including your bum fuzz. You will be required to spread your legs wide and sometimes bend your knees or even raise your knees so your waxer can reach your private part. If you have tried normal bikini wax and have experienced the pain, you can go a step further and opt for Brazilian wax. However, if you are a first timer, I would personally advice you to try normal bikini wax or opt for French bikini wax, prior to trying Brazilian wax. You need to remove your panty for this waxing procedure. Of course, your aesthetician is a professional, who has serviced many women before so, there’s no need to feel shy or awkward.

French Bikini Wax:

Very similar to Brazilian wax, except you get to keep the hair between your butts. French bikini wax will typically leave behind a small, vertical strip of hair so you will be bare down there, but not beyond the anus. For this waxing procedure, you are not required to stretch and spread your legs as much. This method is great for those who want to go bare but not as extreme as with a full fledged Brazilian wax. Even if you are a first timer, there is nothing much to worry, as you can experience the procedure without having to go all the way down. You can opt for this wax, if you’re planning on wearing a thong, or want to be clean and bare down there minus the terror of getting your butts waxed. You will have to remove your panty for most part of the procedure, but not throughout.

A Few Tips For First Timers:

1) Trim your hair length a few centimetres, if you happen to have very long hair. Especially, if you’re a first timer. This will reduce the pain and your hair will come off easily.
2) Breathe in and out. Exhale every time she pulls and control your pelvis from jerking with every pull, this will reduce the intensify of the pain.
3) After waxing, you can use aloe vera gel on the area for a couple of days after getting waxed. This will soothe your skin, reduce irritation and red spots.
4) Do not opt for waxing, if you happen to have any skin irritations or infections in that area at least for a few days. You do not want to worsen the situation.
