Today, I’m reviewing my first product sponsored by IMBB and for that, a big thank you to Rati Ma’m and Sanjeev sir for giving me the opportunity to buy a product I had been coveting to try for the longest time. So without further ado, let’s get into its review. I decided to purchase Dior Addict lip gloss in the shade 364 Charm. I bought it for multiple reasons- first, obviously it’s Dior so I assumed it had to be something! Then, I hardly ever buy lip glosses because I gravitate more towards sheer glossy lipsticks but I had been wanted to try out a new and different lip gloss than the regular ones that everyone raves about. So I finally bought this lip gloss. Read on to know how it fared for me.

My experience with Dior Addict Charm Gloss Mirror Shine Volume & Care :
Packaging: I absolutely love the packaging of this lip gloss. It is so pretty and girly. It comes in a glass bottle/ tube and it has a metallic/ glass handle. It is definitely a very sturdy packaging but also a little bulky. The applicator wand is nothing like regular wands of lip glosses. It is instead a fine bristled wand that makes the application smoother than ever and makes the gloss glide on to the lips effortlessly. I really like how this wand is so much better in texture than regular wands.
Shade: The store that I bought this gloss at, had all the shades out of stock but this one and another red one. Since I was looking for something I can wear more regularly, this n*de brown lip gloss seemed to be safe choice. It is very pretty lip gloss in n*de brown shade. It is the perfect neutral shade for everyday wear. I prefer to wear this lip gloss on top of a natural pink lip liner because on its own, this lip gloss isn’t sufficient for hiding the pigmentation on my lips. In the lip swatch though, I have used this lip gloss on bare lips as I wanted to show the real shade as it appears on the lips when worn on its own. This shade is perfect for light-medium skin toned beauties however; I think it will wash out darker skin- toned beauties.
Texture, pigmentation and longevity: I absolutely love the texture of this lip gloss. It goes on really silky and smooth on the lips. it is in fact very creamy and moisturizing too and like I mentioned, even though I wear it over a lip liner, it doesn’t dry out my lips. it is nicely pigmented lip gloss and a little goes a long way. I usually use only two swipes of this lip gloss. When worn on top of a lip liner, this gloss lasts on me for a good 4-5 hours with light meals. On its own, it lasts for around 2.5 hours. I am satisfied with the staying power of this lip gloss as first, it is a gloss and second, I don’t mind re-applying.
Pros of Dior Addict Charm Gloss Mirror Shine Volume & Care :
• Super luxurious packaging.
• Sturdy packaging.
• The wand has fine bristles instead of a sponge. I really like this kind of wand for lip gloss application because it makes the application of lip glosses more precise and perfect.
• It has no fragrance at all.
• It is creamy in texture and feels very soft on the lips.
• Keeps lips moisturized.
• It is not at all sticky in texture unlike some disgusting lip glosses that are so sticky that your hair keep sticking to your lips.
• Nice neutral shade of lip gloss for everyday wear.
• Decent staying power of 4 hours when worn on top of a lip liner.
• It has a nice color payoff and I usually require only two swipes of this lip gloss.
Cons of Dior Addict Charm Gloss Mirror Shine Volume & Care :
• This particular shade may wash out darker skin toned beauties.
• It does not hide the pigmentation of lips that well so I have to wear it on top of a lip liner.
• The packaging though sturdy, is also a little bulky.
• Expensive!!!
• Though not really a con, but most stores that stock Dior Addict lip glosses have most of the shades out of stock.
Will I repurchase it/ do I recommend Dior Addict Charm Gloss Mirror Shine Volume & Care ?
I have already started saving money to buy my next Dior Addict lip gloss in maybe a pink/ mauve shade next time, so obviously I will repurchase it. I recommend everyone to try at least one dior addict lip gloss as it is just awesome!

A high-end lip gloss with gorgeous packaging and excellent color payoff. keeps the lips moisturized and feels very silky on the lips.Highly recommended!

I bought it from Shoppers Stop in Delhi and even there, barely 2 shades were available in their lipstick range hence I ended up purchasing a lip gloss. But I’m glad I did! 😀
Would you suggest buying it online? I’m all the time suspicious of it’s originality :/
Umm, I can’t say anything about whether or not you should purchase it online. First of all, there are more knock-offs in the market than we can imagine and second of all, spending ₹2000 on a gloss means something. What if the shade isnt what it looked like online? I suggest you buy from a proper store. :))
Exactly the knock offs 🙁 I want a lipstick though. But I guess I will rest with the idea of not purchasing it online. I placed a prepaid order on beautybay.com some 20 days back, and you wouldn’t believe they aren’t delivering the parcel only and if I mail them, all they send is a computer generated mail. :/
