Dior Addict Lip Tattoo Long-Wear Colored Tint Natural Cherry, Natural Coral, Natural Pink, Natural Rosewood Review

The 4 colors I have are:

451 Natural Coral – Beautiful medium coral lip color.
881 Natural Pink – a medium rosy pink.
761 Natural Cherry – a medium strawberry red
491 Natural Rose Wood – a mid-tone mauve, can be a MLBB shade for lot of skin tones.

My Experience with Dior Addict Lip Tattoo Long-Wear Colored Tint Natural Cherry, Natural Coral, Natural Pink, Natural Rosewood:

Consistency and Texture:  They have a watery gel0like consistency that settles down to a soft, creamy consistency after a few seconds, and after a while, settles to a stain and you feel nothing on lips. They are very lightweight on lips. I’d like to mention that they do cling weirdly on to the lips. I’d say they goes on a little patchy unless you really fix with your finger tip. The lip tattoo had a slight sweet taste.

Pigmentation:  These lip tints are very pigmented for a lip stain. They can go on sheer and can be built up to a brighter semi opaque as well. I feel they are best layered on to get the real pop of color. Another thing I noticed is that it’s always better to layer them up after the first coat settles down for a few seconds or they tend to get all streaky and weird. Thin layers of lip tattoo applies better than going for a thicker layer in one go. The darker shade, “Natural Cherry” is the most pigmented of all. “Natural Pink” is the least pigmented of all and does not apply evenly with only one coat. I mostly fix them up with a pat of finger. They also tend to look better with applicator + finger tip patting application. You can easy retouch them during the day a they neither get flakey or drying.

Staying Power:  They have the worst staying power when it comes to lip tints. Honestly, I really wanted to love them but I am so not sold out by these. They barely stay for an hour on my lips. I have tried to layer them on, tried to apply multiple coats…they have not worked for me.They also fade unevenly. They tend to fade after a few glasses of water only. “Natural Cherry” is the one that has stayed longest on my lips – 3 hours top.

Packaging:  The packaging stunning. The matte cute tubes with silver cap is very sweet. They have a lovely doe-foot applicator and are very easy to use.

After using lip tints for all these days, I feel they are best for those who don’t have very pigmented lips to start with. I have a bit pigmented lips myself, so I always feel they don’t do justice to my lips.

I always feel that I should have lip liner or something underneath for these lips to go on evenly. Out of the 4 colors, it’s only Natural Rosewood that really gives an even application on my lips, but then it also fades weirdly after a while.

Overall, the colors are gorgeous and I so badly wanted them to work, but these have been such let downs. The staying power is sad and they fade weirdly on lips… I’d definitely ask you to skip these.
