This review will be on the “DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum.”
A mascara base from Dior Backstage that gives lashes up to twice the volume.
What it does:
Straight from backstage fashion shows, this unprecedented mascara base combines the immediate enhancing effect of mascara with the benefits of daily lash-care. Lashes are left intensely curled, thickened and lengthened, ideally primed to heighten the effect of mascara and optimize hold. Diorshow Maximizer offers visibly longer lashes and up to twice the volume. Its enhancing formula is infused with hyaluronic acid with plumping properties and Dior’s proprietary Lash Maximizer™ ingredient to help lashes look their best.
My Experience with Dior Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum:
Packaging: Comes in a traditional mascara tube with a cone-shaped wand. Application is super easy, just like a regular mascara.
Usage and Results: The only thing I don’t like about this product is that it is stark white which makes you look like you have albino lashes. Since this is a lash serum which can be used on its own to condition the lashes at night time, it always gives my hubby a good laugh to see me with white eyelashes. This “whiteness” goes away after about 10- 15 minutes, but my lashes still have a white tint after that. It does give some definition, separation and curl to my lashes while conditioning it, which I love and would have totally used it during the day time or while running errands when I want to skip the whole mascara routine if it were not for the white tint. It might take some time for me to really be able to see a difference in my lashes in terms of volume and length which this serum claims to improve.
This serum can also be used under your mascara, I love using in that way. This serum works best when used along with dry mascaras. When paired with wet mascara formulas, I find it clumps my lashes together. I find the best method of application is to not let the serum dry completely; instead coat your mascara when the serum is partly dry. This method gives body to my lashes and makes them appear thicker and longer.
Overall, I do really like this product as a lash primer before my mascara. I have naturally long but very thin lashes and this serum under my mascara adds bulk and volume to my existing lashes. I cannot support the claim of it improving the looks of the lashes as a conditioning serum as I have not yet seen any significant difference in that aspect. I will recommend this mascara to all

Pros of Dior Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum:
- Gives body to my lashes when I use it under the mascara and makes them look thicker and longer.
- Lash serum claims to condition lashes in the long run.
- Easy to use and apply.
- Gives definition, separation and holds the curl of my lashes.
Cons of Dior Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum:
- Leaves a white tint on the lashes which is very noticeable when used on its own. I wish it had a black tint or was clear, in that case, I could have used it during the daytime too.
