My Experience with Diptyque Infused Facial Water:

This is my first time trying anything from Diptyque. Their candles have a massive fan following but I decided to start with their skincare first. I love my rose water or any facial mist; I am addicted to them. Well, this facial water by Diptyque is such a massively popular product, I had to give a go. It’s a mix of nine traditional flowers and plants that help in nourishing your skin. The base of this facial water is “Damascus Rose Hydrosol”, which is basically rose water and then it’s infused with rest of the natural ingredients that help with the radiance of the skin. This also contains Nasturtium, which has healing properties and is also anti-inflammatory.

The texture of this facial water is unlike any other facial water that I have ever tried. It has that very, very thin lotion-like consistency. It’s like a thin moisturiser. It also feels a bit sticky on application but that soaks up within a few minutes and you are left with soft skin. It is absolutely fantastic to use post masks, when you don’t want to apply layers of skincare. This light water moisturises, soothes and takes care of the skin without being thick or heavy.

I mostly use it with cotton pad and it really cleans my face and gets rid of any leftover makeup/impurities on my face. Take it as a toner or an essence that you would use before applying your moisturiser.

I have used it quite regularly, and honestly, it’s all nice and luxurious, but I haven’t seen any major difference in my skin with or without using this facial water. It has never broken me out and it smells heavenly. I would probably even repurchase it because of all the goodness it contains, but you don’t need it in your life. A good old rose water is just as good. This one has the same base. One of the things I adore about this is the lovely and gorgeous pump packaging. It really makes for a beautiful display on the vanity. This water is free of a ton of nasty ingredients that you would definitely don’t want in your skincare.

Love it. But can leave it as well. 🙂
