Hello girls,

I have to admit I have big pores and something with the “pores” claim always attracts me. I spotted this scrub from Dirty Works and was totally left intrigued by the name! Isn’t the name super cute? I would say I am not really loyal to face scrubs; I keep trying one after the other. So after the Lotus PhytoRX Whitening and Brightening Skin Polisher, this is the one that I tried. My Experience with Dirty Works Pore-Fect Face Scrub:

Packaging: The pore-fect scrub comes in an aqua blue and white tube with hints of deep coral. The packaging is super fun and quirky and that is of the reason why I picked this up. The tube has all the instructions nicely mentioned over it. The tube has a sleek packaging hence can be easily carried during travels. The tube in an inverted once and the consistency is runny, hence while opening it I need to be extra careful as excess quantity may come out. I feel the price is pretty high as compared to the Indian scrubs but since it is imported, the price does go up.

Consistency and smell: The consistency of the scrub is super runny yet creamy. The scrub is a mixture of creaminess and granules which make it a perfect one for my skin. The granules looked very small to me initially, but when rubbed on the skin, I felt them working very well. A very little quantity is required at once. The smell is more than amazing. It is a perfect thing to wake you up completely during the mornings. It has a fruity scent due to the presence of cranberry and raspberry but menthol dominates the fruity scent. I can smell fresh menthol and I get a nice icy cool feel when using it. The smell is super good. The smell lingers for a while on the face and then fades off.

Results: The creamy part of the scrub nicely cleans my skin getting rid of all the oiliness, dirt and impurities. And the scrubby bits get rid of the dark and dull cells making my skin look a lot fresher and brighter. It does get rid of flaky and dry skin as claimed and adds moisture to my skin thus making it an even and smooth surface. My skin gets a subtle glow every time I use it. I feel it is gentle enough to be used everyday but since they say twice a week, I do not use more than that. My skin looked really clear and I can see a lot of improvement too. It does clean my pores as well and I can feel a smooth chin and nose, but it won’t be able to get rid of very stubborn whiteheads or blackheads. The best part about this scrub is the cooling sensation. It helps me to give a kick start to the day but the cooling sensation is just like the ice. My skin feels extremely fresh and I feel that it is able to ‘breathe’. A great scrub to try if you are okay with the price.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Dirty Works Pore-Fect Face Scrub?
Yes I might pick it up again. I love face washes or cleansers which contain menthol because they just wake up my dull skin in seconds. But I am not sure about the price, if you can splurge this amount on a face scrub, go for it!
Conclusion: I am in love with this brand currently and if you guys want to try Soap & Glory products and don’t get to buy them, then try this amazing dupe brand.
