Today I’ll share another body wrap but this is a citrus one. I had previously shared the recipe of a DIY Body Wrap using Spices. You can read in detail about what a body wrap is and all about it on that post. Let’s get started with this DIY!
In a bowl, add the dry ingredients, i.e. besan and multani mitti. Make sure you break all the lumps using the back of a spoon. Mix these two together until combined. You can use a multani mitti based dry face pack like I’m using here too. Just make sure it’s a dry powder and not a paste.
Now, add a few drops of orange oil to the dry mixture.
Next, add rose water and/or orange juice. You can add either if you want or both of them. I just added the rose water.
Combine everything until it forms a thin paste.
Your body wrap is ready to be used now.
Usually the body wrap is applied after taking a bath with warm water. Apply generous amount of the pack on your body and massage it for 2-3 minutes. This will improve the blood circulation. Then you have to take a towel and wrap it around your body and let the wrap do it’s magic. Keep it for 10-15 minutes or more and then you can wash it off with lukewarm water. If you don’t want you use a cloth to wrap, you can use this wrap as a body pack too. See the advantage of DIY? It is totally customisable!
⦁ Lemon is usually known for cleansing our body, but it can be used on the face and body too. It’ll break down the dirt, makeup and other nasty stuff from your skin and give you a cleansed base. It also helps fight acne and remove blackheads. Lemon also improves the complexion of your skin and reduces tan.
⦁ The antioxidants present in the orange fight free radicals and thus prevent aging. Being excellent sources of Vitamin C, orange and lemon, can do wonders for your skin by treating blemishes, dark spots, acne, etc. Both of these also rejuvenate dull skin and make it radiant. Regular usage of this body wrap lightens the skin. It removes dead cells. Diminishes any scars. Citrus fruits are great toners too.
