DIY Deep Cleansing and Blackhead Removing Scrub

Mango tastes delicious, but did you know it works great for your skin too? Mango is rich in vitamins and is a great alternative to your regular face wash. Fruit cleansers make your skin healthy and improve its texture too. I have oily and sensitive skin and I always prefer to use homemade scrubs. I recently tried this scrub which gives a fresh and clear skin. Let’s get into the details.
DIY Deep Cleansing and Blackheads Removing Scrub

Ingredients:

• 2 spoon mango paste
• 2 spoon oats
• ½ spoon lemon juice
• 1 spoon honey
•Rose water

Procedure:

Step 1
Take 2 spoons of plain oats and add 1 spoon of honey to it. Mix them nicely.

To make the paste a little thin, add 1 spoon of rose water to it.

Now, add 2 spoons of mango paste to it and combine all the ingredients smoothly.

Finally add ½ spoon of lemon juice to the mixture. Blend all of them and make a thick paste.

Your scrub is now ready to be used. Apply this scrub on your face and neck. Massage it for 10 minutes in circular motion and leave it on for around 5 minutes. Then, rinse with warm water nicely.

Mango:
Mango is a great source of antioxidants and it is rich in Vitamin C too. So, it acts as a great ingredient if you want glowy skin. It cleanses the skin from deep within and hydrates it too. It has anti-ageing properties, which keep your skin youthful. It removes blackheads and works as a great face cleanser. It also treats acne and dark spots.

Oats:
Oats act very well as a scrub. The fine beads of oats smoothly cleanse the face. It is an effective ingredient for dry skin, and removes dull, patchy skin easily. It also gives a glow to dull face with a soft texture. It also removes blackheads.

Lemon:
Lemon juice contains citric acid which gradually fades spots and evens out our skin tone. Lemon’s antibacterial and antifungal properties make it a natural skin purifier. It helps to control excess facial oil too.

Rose water:
Rose water makes skin fresh and glowy. It gives a soothing effect to the skin and gives a hydrated and soft skin instantly. It controls excess oil and maintains skin’s pH balance. It works as a great toner for the skin.

Results:

This DIY scrub cleanses my dull, oily face deeply and my skin feels fresh and clear after using it. It removes dirt and my skin looks brighter. It exfoliates the skin in a proper way and it is effective on blackheads too. I have blackheads around my nose and after using this scrub I have noticed good changes in my skin. It gives a bright glow and improves skin texture too. As a homemade cleansing scrub, it does its job well. I really like the after effects.
