DIY Face Serum for Smooth and Clear Skin

I love to make DIY skin care products, and today I am sharing a face serum for smooth and clear skin. Face serum is always a blessing for the skin. I love to use face serums at night underneath my moisturizer. Serums get deeply absorbed into skin and work from the inside to make skin better. Here I am using some great ingredients for skin, and this serum is great for all skin types. But, I would still suggest you to do a patch test beforehand.

Ingredients:

• Olive Oil
Olive oil is rich in vitamins, minerals and natural fatty acids. It provides deep moisturisation and keeps skin hydrated. As it is rich in antioxidants, it works as an anti ageing ingredient too. It prevents skin aging and appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It keeps skin youthful and glowy too.

• Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a skin saviour, and is meant for all skin types. It provides deep hydration and makes skin super moisturized. It is rich in antioxidants, so it helps the skin to breathe. Since it has anti ageing properties too, it reduce wrinkles and fine lines. It also works on spots and blemishes, and makes skin clear. It acts amazingly as an overnight oil.

• Clove Oil
Clove is strong in nature and it helps to eliminate pimples and acne. It kills bacteria from skin and makes skin clear. It comes with great blemishes clearing properties too. It peels dark spots and scars, and makes skin clear and healthy. It also acts as a stress buster and provides relief from headache. It keeps you stress free and fresh for longer.

• Essential Massage Oil
Essential oil has wonderful benefits for the skin. A suitable essential oil can solve so many skin problems. It acts as a stress relief oil and provides lots of energy to the skin. As it contains a strong scent, it feels so good and pleasant. Such oils have a rejuvenating effect on the skin, and keep skin youthful.

Procedure:

1. Take 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a bowl.

2. Add 1 tablespoon of essential massage oil. And mix them together nicely.

3. Add only 2 drops of clove oil in the mixture. Be very careful about this part. Don’t put extra drops of clove oil. Otherwise, it will make your skin burn.

4. Now take 1 Vitamin E capsule and add it to the mixture. Combine all the oils smoothly.

5. You need a dropper bottle. Put the mixture in the bottle and store it for further use.

6. Apply 2-3 drops of oil at night. Massage all over your face.

Benefits:

This DIY face serum is very lightweight and gets easily absorbed into skin. It never feels sticky or oily on skin. It helps to regenerate skin cells and to provide a smooth and clear skin. I have oily skin in summers, but in winters my cheeks feels dry with oily T zone. I prefer to apply this serum at night. It never makes my skin oily. It hydrates my skin. It feels good on skin and never makes it dry. It smells good and pleasant due to the essential oil. As it contains Vitamin E, it keeps skin moisturized and helps to repair the dry patches.

This serum makes skin smooth and clear too. It gives a tight and rejuvenated effect. Besides smoothness, it also provides a youthful skin with lesser fine lines. Clove oil helps to reduce pimples and also the pimple scars. As this serum feels light on skin, I apply this serum at day time too when I am at home. It never makes my skin look greasy.

Overall, this face serum helps to reduce stress and to keep my skin fresh. Clove oil also helps me sleep better, and I wake up fresh and rejuvenated. The procedure is very easy and simple, but the results are amazing.
