Hey girls,
Foundations can feel uncomfortably heavy on a long day. Finding a long-lasting foundation that actually perseveres through the day is tough. Luckily, I found a solution and I’m here to share.
What you need:
• Coconut oil
• Foundation/BB Cream/CC Cream
• Primer
Method:
Step 1
Mix up a concoction containing a makeup base and primer of your choice. When choosing the primer, I’d recommend going with your skin type. The primer plays a huge role in keeping the base long-lasting.
Step 2
Add a tiny drop of coconut oil into the mixture. The coconut oil will give the makeup base a smooth, silky texture. It’ll also moisturize the skin, creating a dewy look.
Use:
Warm the mixture in your palms. By doing so, it’ll be easier to achieve a thin coat of foundation, giving a “no makeup” look. If you’re no fan of the “no makeup” look, you can apply it like normal foundation. Use a beauty blender to apply it seamlessly.
My Take:
I’ve personally tried this and it works. The foundation is moisturizing and it is indeed long-lasting. I hope you try it too.
Cheers!

hey nice DIY..I have tried adding a drop of oil to my Lakme CC cream, but it doesnt blend with oil properly. It kinda feel sticky..any suggestion to blend?
What oil is it? Depending on the oil it may make the foundation sticky however you can try diluting the oil with a drop of water before mixing with foundation.
Have tried TBS vitamin e oil and Lancome serum in oil. I will try diluting with water and see..Thanks for the tip 🙂
