Summer means hot and humid weather. We require a healthy diet, lots of water and also good refreshing face packs during this time of the year. I have super oily skin and my skin looks tanned and dull now. After a very hot day, my skin needs a refreshing summer pack. So, I am sharing a recipe for all skin types which helps to maintain the glow of your skin and also provides a fresh and energetic look. It is so easy to make and suits even sensitive skin. Let’s get into the details.
Cucumber helps to whiten and brighten dull skin. It can add a glow and freshness to the skin. It offers cooling and soothing effects and helps to cure sunburn. It works on acne, scars, and blemishes. This is a great ingredient for oily skin as an oil controlling juice.
Tulsi is most useful herb for skin care. It mostly works best to eliminates pimples, acne, and any other infections. It makes skin clear and also gives a soothing sensation. It also lightens up the dark spots and dull skin. It controls oil and keeps your skin young and fresh. It acts a soothing, purifying, healing and medicinal ingredient.
Due to its refreshing nature, it works great as a soothing element. It helps to refresh the skin and gives a soft and smooth texture to the skin. It also absorbs excess oil from the face. Watermelon is the best natural element to cure acne. It keeps skin healthy and naturally glowing.
Green tea is full of antioxidants. It also lightens up the dark spots and dull skin. It gives an instant glow to your skin. It helps to reduce acne and clear uneven skin tone. It gives a fresh-looking skin that glows.
Milk is known as a moisturizing ingredient. It helps to keep the skin soft and deeply moisturized for long. It reduces blemishes and works as a spot cleanser. It also helps to brighten up the complexion and to reduce dullness. It keeps skin bright and glowy. It also offers anti-ageing properties.
1. Make a thick paste of 1 spoon of Tulsi leaves and add ½ spoon of pure watermelon juice to that mixture. Combine them nicely.
2. Now make a paste of cucumber and add 1 tablespoon of that paste into the bowl. Mix all the ingredients nicely.
3. Now, add ½ spoon of chilled milk and ½ spoon of green tea to this mixture and mix everything well.
4. Your refreshing face pack is ready. I love to use this pack chilled. But, if you have any problem with the chilled pack, you can adjust the temperature. Apply this pack all over your face and neck and leave it on for 20-30 minutes. Then, rinse with normal water.
My skin always looks shiny and sweaty during summers and I also get some acne issues during this season. This pack calms down my skin and makes it look fresh. I mostly prefer to use this after a long hot day and the pack instantly provides very cooling and refreshing effects. It helps to provide a healthy glow to the skin. It also removes sun tan and makes skin brighter. It brings the glow of my skin back and keeps it well hydrated.
It also controls my unwanted breakouts and helps to reduce the redness of my skin. Basil and cucumber purify my skin deeply and protect my skin from all the infections. It is actually a refreshing pack which soothes my skin. It removes all the dullness from my face. I am so happy with the results. It suits all skin types and it has never irritated my skin either. Try this and enjoy your healthy skin.
