DIY: Refreshing Mango Face Pack

DIY: Refreshing Mango Face Pack

Hello girlies,

Here I am with one more DIY post. Mango is a widely available fruit right now in summers and the highest selling fruit I should say. Most of people like having these yummy mangoes almost each and every day during summers. So why not give your skin a delicious treat too?

So this face pack’s main ingredient is mango, also you can replace it with the other fruits you want but for summer this would be the best pick.

Here are some of the benefits of the refreshing mango pack:

Vitamin C: Mango has a large number of nutrients in it. Green mangoes have higher amount of Vitamin C while the yellow ones are rich in vitamin A.

Improving and lightening the complexion: This mask can provide a boost to the dead cells in your skin and repair them or renew them. Mango pulp also helps to improve the complexion and lightens it up-to a good level. Not that fast but it works over time.

Sun-tan: This face pack helps to fight sun-tan. Obviously most of the people suffer from tanning of the skin during summers. This pack can be used for the entire body too to remove sun tan. Mango and yogurt fight strongly against suntan and lemon juice helps to lighten the darker skin tone of the body.

Acne treatment and acne scars: Mango is effective in relieving clogged pores of the skin. What this means is that people who suffer from acne, which is caused by clogged pores, will benefit from mango.

Dry skin: This face pack works very well on dry parched skin. As it is a skin softner, it will make your skin soft and supple thereby removing the dryness from your skin.

Things you need:

1. Mango pulp
2. Curd
3. Lemon juice
4. Rosewater
5. Honey

Step 1: Take a big bowl so that you do not spill the ingredients. Take the mango pieces in that bowl and mash it with a masher, your fingers or simply a spoon. Now you have a thick paste.

Step 2: Add curd to that paste now. Make sure you add condensed curd and avoid adding curd water because this will make the paste runny which will be a pain o apply and leave on. Stir it well and you will have a light orange paste.

Step 3: Take half a lemon as taking a whole one would start irritating the skin and you will scratch it. Squeeze the lemon into the mixture. Adding lemon to the pack will help to clear the blemishes, dry out the pimples and lighten the dark skin.

Step 4: Add 4-5 drops of rose water to the mixture.

step 4

Step 5: Add honey to the mixture. You can take the quantity as per the pack that you have prepared.

step 5

Step 6: Now stir all the ingredients and you are done!!

step 6

Step 7: Put the bowl in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes before applying. This will give a refreshing cooling effect to your skin and will make you feel relaxed.

Step 8: Cleanse your face with a mild cleanser. Do not apply this pack on dirt skin because it will not give you the desired benefits if you apply it on a dirty face.

Step 9: Now apply the pack on your face and let it stay for 20 minutes.

step 7

Step 10: Wash your face with a facewash and cold water. Use a facewash because the smell of mango is very strong and most of the people will not like the smell being on their face. I get a head-ache due to it after some time. Last step apply your moisturizer.

So this was the refreshing mango face pack. The ingredients are readily available at your house so pick them up and make this pack. Use this facepack at night time before going to sleep , this pack gives you a radiant glow when you wake up in the morning.

So give you skin this fresh fruity treatment and let it breathe free!!

I hope you guys liked it… thank you!!
