How to Use:
To create a fashion forward manicure, select a duo of complementing or contrasting dolce & gabbana nail lacquers, using one shade as a base, and a different colour on the tip. Apply matte top lacquer to the nail tip over a glossy lacquer or vice versa, creative options are endless.
Packaging:
It comes packaged in an elegant glass bottle with a black colored plastic cap with ‘DG’ printed over it. Also, there’s a golden colored outer cap with Dolce and Gabbana printed over it. This sophisticated bottle comes packaged in a black colored cardboard box. Thanks to this small cap, it is quite easy to hold and apply the polish. The packaging is travel-friendly and user-friendly.

My Experience with Dolce and Gabbana 820 Desert The Nail Lacquer:

Desert 820 is a metallic shade with variations of golden shimmer and sparkles. In my opinion, Desert is the perfect name for this shade, for this shade resembles a sand dune which shines and shimmers when the sun shines brightly.

The shimmer and sparkle present in this shade make it perfect for special occasions, but the shade can be worn on a regular basis also. These shimmers are not mild but they are not very OTT either. I would say they are just perfect. This shade can be applied both on hands and toe nails.

Two swipes of this nail lacquer give an opaque finish on my nails. The rich formulation of this nail paint gives full coverage, color-rich manicure, shimmery effect, and sparkly shine to my nails. This shade is long-lasting, chip- and fade-resistant, and smooth to apply, but it takes some time to dry.

Desert is a shimmery shade which gives an even, smooth look and shimmery shine to my nails and a sophisticated look to my hands. In my opinion, this shade is suitable for all skin tones. The expertly designed brush and shorter wand make this richly formulated nail lacquer work well.

The brush features a rounded cut and 470 bristles for smooth and effortless application, and minimal streaking. However, there is a disadvantage of this broad brush – if your nail shape is narrow, polish tends to spread on the sides of the nails and also gets into the cuticles.
