Packaging:
Dolce and Gabbana intense nail lacquer comes in an elegant glass bottle with a black-coloured plastic cap brush with DG written on it and a gold-colour outer cap with Dolce and Gabbana written on it, packed in a black-coloured cardboard box. I like the concept of a smaller cap for the brush which makes it convenient to hold the brush between fingers while applying polish.

How To Use:

To create a fashion forward manicure select a duo of complementing or contrasting Dolce and Gabbana nail lacquers using one shade as a different colour on the tip. Apply matte top lacquer to the nail tip over a glossy lacquer or vice versa. There are endless creative options.

My Experience with Dolce and Gabbana Intense Nail Lacquer:

Dolce and Gabbana passione intense nail lacquer in “Passione 235” is inspired by the unique and vibrant colours – the brand’s runway collection available in 41 shades. I bought “Passione 235” since it’s the perfect magenta shade, not too dark, not too light. This shade is a perfect resemblance of the magenta purple bougainvillea flowers.

I normally prefer n*de and neutral shades suitable for regular wear. However, this time, I picked up a different shade from the purple colour group for occasional wear. Dolce and Gabbana intense nail lacquer in Passione 235 is a gel-based beautiful magenta shade suitable for evening outings, parties and functions.

It is a wonderful colour that’s perfect for hands and feet. The colour is intense and long lasting. It does not fade, but tends to chip at the tips if not applied carefully. It gives a beautiful glossy look to the nails. At least three swipes are required to get the desired look. This shade is a vibrant bright colour and in my opinion is not for regular wear, but for special occasions, dinner outings and party wear.

The brush is broad and round shaped at the tip which flattens during application, and it almost covers the entire nail in one stroke. The shorter wand prevents dripping and wastage. The smaller cap for the brush makes it easy to hold the brush and conveniently apply polish. Truly, this concept is unique.

Dolce and Gabbana has launched eight shades in the nail lacquer which match with their classic cream lipsticks collection to give a perfect D and G look of timeless elegance. In my opinion, this nail lacquer matches with “Shocking 235” and “Guilty 250.”
