Today, I am here to share my views about Dolce and Gabbana Miss Sicily Colour and Care Lipstick in the shade 300 Annunziata. It’s a beautiful cool-toned fuchsia shade. In the spring of 2017, Dolce and Gabbana introduced these ‘Miss Sicily’ lipsticks. Read on to know more.

How to Use:
For a Flash Lip Look: Perfect for a quick and easy lip look with one layer, build up for more payoff.
For a more sophisticated lip look: First apply lip liner to define contours and corners of the lips. Then apply the matching colour of miss sicily with one layer all over the lips for a sheer finish result. Add more layers for a bolder effect.
Packaging:
It comes packaged in a black and gold coloured lipstick bullet with a golden coloured cap, which has the brand name inscribed in a black coloured font. The cap closes firmly, hence the packaging can be labelled as travel-friendly. This sophisticated lipstick comes packaged in a black coloured cardboard box.
My Experience with Dolce and Gabbana Miss Sicily Colour and Care Lipstick 300 Annunziata:
Dolce and Gabbana is one of my favourite brands, hence when I heard about this Miss Sicily range, I was all game. I picked up the shade Annunziata, which is a cool-toned fuchsia shade. It’s a lovely shade, I always wanted a shade like this in my vanity – not too dark, not too light.
Annunziata in Italian means feminine. All their sixteen shades represent classic femininity, name and colour wise. In fact, these shades are grouped into nudes, pinks, purples, corals, and reds. Coming back to Annunziata, the texture is ultra light. It applies easily and smoothly. It feels supple on the lips and the texture is non-sticky. Also, it does not spread or feather.
The lasting power is four to six hours. Once I start ingesting, it starts fading. It does not fade after drinking tea, coffee or water, but tends to lighten after snacks. However, the feel of the formula stays on the lips. It tends to disappear after a full or heavy meal. This shade is nicely pigmented and gives medium coverage to my pigmented lips.
This shade tends to transfer, if lips are pressed too hard. Formulated with a unique blend of polymers, this lipstick gives true colour and radiance. The formula includes moisturising ingredients and a blend of emollient oils that nourish and protect the lips throughout the day. It basically has the colour of a lipstick, the shine of a lip gloss and nourishing care of a lip balm.
This shade has a vibrant hue. It adheres to the lips, giving a sensual, dewy finish. I can easily skip my lip balm regime on days I wear this lipstick. It’s truly a lip colour and care formula! This shade is perfect for regular wear as well as for special occasions. It does not dry out or irritate my sensitive lips, but keeps them hydrated and nourished.
