The trend of liquid lipsticks is ruling the beauty world these days. One of my favorite Youtubers once mentioned this brand and that’s when Dose of Colors caught my attention. I got this liquid lipstick in the shade Cork. Read on to know more about it.

My Experience with Dose of Colors Cork Matte Liquid Lipstick:

Packaging:
The liquid lipstick comes in a cardboard packaging with the name of the lipper along with the shade name and ingredients list. The bottle of the lipstick is frosty and transparent with a white colored cap. Again, the name of the brand is printed on the bottle. The applicator is quite sturdy and makes application precise and easy.

Shade and Pigmentation:
The shade I chose is ‘Cork’ which is a muddy brown kind of shade. I feel this one is a unique brown color. Lately, I am loving browns for my lips and this is one of my favorite shades. It’s a unique shade of brown and most women do not have this shade in their collection.

Texture:
The texture of the liquid lipstick is very comfortable and easy to carry. Once you apply this one, it feels very light and velvety. But after a few minutes, it sets to a completely matte finish. The formula is very lightweight and will not dry your lips, which most of the liquid lipsticks tend to do.

Pigmentation:
It has an amazing pigmentation. One swipe is enough to give you full coverage.

Staying Power:
I am quite impressed with the staying power of this lipper. It stays on me until I remove it and that too without making my lips dry. However, if I eat something oily, the color tends to fade away from the inner corners.

Overall:
I am in love with this lipper and I see myself going for this one a lot. It’s a very unique shade yet it is easy to carry. Plus, I am quite happy and impressed with the formulation of this one as it’s quite lightweight and comfortable.
