We all want to have damage-free, healthy hair but our lifestyle leads to more damage. We love using styling tools during the wedding season, which leads to a lot of damage. Our much-loved brand ‘Dove’ recently launched its Advanced Hair Series in India. This range is specially designed to repair everyday damage. I picked up the whole range and today I am going to share my views about the ‘Regenerative Repair Conditioner’. Read on to know how it worked on me.

My Experience with Dove Advanced Hair Series Regenerative Repair Conditioner:

This new Regenerative Repair Conditioner comes in a big white tube with a red cap. Right now this conditioner comes only in one size – 240 ml – which is quite bulky to carry. But this is a nice, attractive packaging as compared to their old bottle. Also, the dispenser keeps the product getting dispensed under check. I think this conditioner is reasonably priced if we look at the quantity offered.

The conditioner has a normal white color and a creamy texture that glides easily on my hair. The consistency is neither too thick nor too runny, so it blends smoothly and feels light on the hair. It has a very nice, fresh fragrance that stays in my hair for long. I always like hair care products that smell good as they keep my hair fresh throughout the day. I mostly prefer to apply this conditioner from the mid-length of my hair and keep it on for 3-4 minutes. Then, I rinse it with normal water. You can easily rinse the product out without any effort.

This creamy conditioner instantly provides a smooth, silky texture to my hair and helps detangle the knots at the time of washing. My hair feels very soft and I can easily brush it. This range is especially for damaged hair, hence it provides a good amount of hydration to my hair and makes hair soft and silky.

This is a nice nourishing conditioner for my smooth hair but it can’t provide that polished look. The brand claims that this conditioner has Keratin complex, so I was expecting that shine. But it can’t provide that keratin shine or smoothness. I already have smooth hair and this conditioner works nicely on me but I am not sure how it will work on extremely dry and rough hair. I didn’t notice any hair fall because of this conditioner, though.

This conditioner definitely helps repair damaged hair. It contains red algae complex which is quite good for damaged hair. I had been using a lot of styling tools for some time which had made my hair dry and rough. This conditioner instantly controlled frizz while making my hair smooth and soft. My hair has become stronger and healthier. This conditioner now keeps my hair hydrated and manageable but it cannot control frizz for long. I need to follow up with a nice hair serum to keep my hair frizz-free.

Overall:
It is a nice conditioner that really makes hair soft, smooth and healthy. It also keeps hair naturally bouncy, hence doesn’t weigh it down. I love how it works on my hair.
