I am back with another review. While doing my routine hair care shopping, I stumbled upon this new launch from Dove. Somehow, I have always had a love-hate relationship with Dove hair products right from their shampoos to c` and hair oils. I have never been satisfied with the results achieved by Dove products. This time too, I was skeptical to try another Dove shampoo but a different and attractive packaging compelled me to buy the newly-launched Dove Advanced Series Rejuvenated Volume Shampoo. Let’s see how the product really fared.

My Experience with Dove Advanced Hair Series Rejuvenated Volume Shampoo:
Packaging: Let me be honest here. The packaging was the only thing that attracted me to purchase this. It’s different from the normal boring Dove shampoo packaging and since it had advanced series written over it, I just could not resist myself from buying this product. The packaging at first will make you think that this is a conditioner since it is packaged in a tube form with a flip cap opening at the bottom. For once, I felt that finally my secret prays of such a convenient shampoo packaging have been heard. The shampoo tube has all the detailed information about the product right from the ingredients to the description.
Fragrance: The fragrance of this shampoo is just like any typical Dove shampoo i.e. mildly floral and fruity combined. The fragrance tends to linger onto the hair for a day or two which is quite good considering the humid weather in Mumbai. The fragrance is not at all overpowering and I have to say that this shampoo smells really good.
Texture, Quality and Benefits: I have been using this shampoo since the past two weeks and I have to say I am completely in love with this shampoo. The texture of the shampoo is very silky and spreads amazingly onto the hair due to which it lathers pretty well without extra efforts considering I have dry frizzy hair. My scalp feels squeaky clean post usage. The quantity is a bit less when compared to other shampoos by Dove for the same price. I have a terrible problem of my hair flattening out after shampoo and conditioner but using this shampoo (along with conditioner from same range) I have definitely felt a difference since from the first usage itself my hair felt much more bouncy and smoother. Also, it imparts a shine onto my dull and frizzy hair and all these lasts for two days straight when I am ready for my next hair wash. By the claims, it was supposed to make hair thicker, but I do not see any such difference, it’s just that my hair are less weighed down as compared to previous shampoos I used. I do suffer from hair fall as well but this shampoo has made a small and nothing extraordinary to my hair fall as per the claims.
I feel this shampoo is definitely worth a try. It definitely works as per claimed but do not expect it to completely stop hair fall.

I would definitely recommend you to try this new range by Dove if you want to add volume to your hair and are fed up of using shampoos that just flatten out the hair. I would definitely repurchase this range if I do not find something better to try out. Go ahead Ladies, this is the best thing if you have lifeless hair. So give it a try, I am sure you won’t regret it.
