Dove Body Silk Cream – Go Fresh

I simply brought Dove Body silk cream in silk glow last winter around september because I wanted to try something like a cream. I really like that one for my hands and feet. This one is reviewed here in IMBB but I didn’t face any issues with the product’s fragrance. I believe all of you have tried dove soap at least once by now. Generally all Dove products are little highly scented. This is typically the same. So, if you are comfortable with the soap, you should be comfortable with this one.

I couldn’t find the product easily. I picked this one from Saravanna stores, Chennai. I paid INR 136 for 300 ml. decent pricing, I should say. Later around December, I picked the second one. That is the product for today’s review.

The product comes in a tub packaging. It is pretty huge tub with ¾ portion filled with product. The product has a typical pleasant smell of all the dove products. It has a soothing cucumber fragrance to it. The product comes in off white color. The texture is a light cream texture. The main difference between the two products is that this one is little thicker than the silk glow one. It is still a light cream. It takes little time to get absorbed but you will find no effort to spread them. It is easy to apply. I found it non-greasy during the winter.

I liked how my skin felt after each application. It was just in the consistency I was searching for. It is neither a cream nor a lotion. I was happy with the result.

As March approached, the product became a little excess moisturizing for me. I have combination skin. So, I asked my mother to try the product. She has extremely dry skin and she loves it.

Pros of Dove Body Silk Cream – Go Fresh

• Pretty cheap.
• Awesome fragrance.
• Moisturizes well.
• Dry skin should give this a try.
• Makes the skin soft and supple.

Cons of Dove Body Silk Cream – Go Fresh :

• Will not suit oily skin.
• Will not suit combination skin in summer.
• Ingredients list missing.

I would recommend this product to all the dry skin girls. I will not repurchase this but I will definitely repurchase the silk glow variant. I liked it much better than this one. Oily skin and combination skin girls should give silk glow a try.
