My Experience with Dove Deep Moisture Nourishing Body Wash:

As many of you know winter is the season of dry skin. I am no exception to this fact as my skin will get very dry, flaky and itchy in this season. In the past, I have always had good experience with Dove products in terms of their hydrating ability hence I decided to give this body wash a shot.

I am very pleased with the results of this product. The consistency of the body wash is very thick and creamy and feels luxurious. It lathers very well and you can feel it hydrating your skin deeply with the very first wash. It is literally like a whole bottle of body lotion which also happens to lather and clean your body while it moisturizes. Skin is so soft and smooth post bath.

After using this body wash, skin doesn’t feel dry or parched at all and on some days, you can even get away without applying any lotion if you do not suffer from severe dry skin. I feel that this will be a great product to be used during the winter months, but may not be suitable for the summers since it does feel like it does not rinse off completely.  Even though it cleans your body thoroughly, it leaves behind a layer of moisturizer which may make you feel greasy in the summer time.

The scent of this body wash is so clean and pleasant, smells exactly like the classic Dove beauty bar which many of you will be familiar with. This body wash is basically just the liquid version of that beauty soap. Scent does not linger very long on the skin.  This product is very easily available in most stores and a lot of quantity is provided for the price. A bottle can last you for months since not a lot of product is required in a single use. Due to the enormous amount of quantity provided, the bottle is very heavy in terms of weight. Also, I feel that the packaging could have been better. The tapered top of the bottle makes it difficult to keep the bottle upside down when trying to get the last bit of product out. Since the product is so thick and creamy, it takes a lot of time for the product to flow from the base of the bottle to the top.  Overall, a great product, definitely worth buying this winter season.
