Today’s review is about Dove Derma Spa Cashmere Comfort Body Lotion. I love Dove products so much that I keep my eyes open for new launches. I found this brand new product on the counter and could not help but pick it up even though it’s a little pricey for a drugstore brand. Let’s jump into the review as I can’t wait to praise the product.

My Experience with Dove Derma Spa Cashmere Comfort Body Lotion:
Packaging:
I love the way it looks and feels from the outside. It has a very cute packaging. The casing is plastic but the soft kind of plastic. The finish of the bottle is satiny. It feels so good to just hold it. The casing is white with a blue cap. The whole packaging feels very fresh. The packaging looks luxurious, like those from very expensive brands. The top has a flap lid which opens and closes easily. The tube is not very huge. It’s a slender sleek tube with just 200 ml of product. It fits easily in a bag and doesn’t take too much space. The product is very mild but effective and extremely attractive.
Consistency:
The body lotion is white in colour with a creamy consistency. It is not very thick. The lotion spreads very easily over the skin and gets absorbed within seconds. A little (compared to other lotions) amount is sufficient for my entire body. It does not leave a white film when applied.
Fragrance:
The fragrance is slightly on the stronger side. I can assure you that most of you will love the way it smells. It smells kind of floral and heavenly. The fragrance also lasts a few hours. I was surprised with the staying power. For sure the fragrance is strong and lasts long.
Feel:
The body lotion leaves my skin silky, smooth and soft. The lotion moisturizes my skin well. The product is targeted for dry to extremely dry skin. It keeps me well moisturized during cold winter days. I don’t have to apply it more than once a day. The product does not cause any kind of irritation or redness. It’s suitable for sensitive skin.
Overall:
It’s a drugstore product, but the looks and results are that of a spa product. The pricing is little high when compared to other drugstore body lotions. But, it’s totally worth the price. I cannot recommend it enough.
