My Experience with Dove Derma Spa Uplifted+ Massaging Body Roll-on:
Dove Derma Spa Uplifted+ Massaging Body Roll-on comes in a sleek white tube with a translucent light blue cap, which closes with a click. It comes with a tiny sticky flap on the cap, which proves that the product is sealed. It has a projected head that holds the metallic balls in place. The roll-on comes with three metallic balls that roll while application. The tube bears the basic product-related information. The packaging is satisfactory. As the product is sealed, there is no chance for any leakage. The rim works with an “on-off” mechanism and dispenses the gel uniformly. The roll-on is clear in colour and has a gel-like consistency. It smells very pleasant of lilies and cucumber and is very refreshing. Once the tube is squeezed, the gel dispenses through the balls and with gentle rolling, the gel spreads evenly on the skin.
I have been using this product for around 2 weeks on one of my legs to see the results. The product is mainly aimed at restoring the firmness in the body and a minimum of 4 weeks is necessary to see any visible results. The metallic balls facilitate an effective massaging that feels great on the skin. The application is not even, and you need to go through the area more than once for an even application. I prefer to keep this refrigerated as it gives a mild cooling and relaxing effect when applied. The product gets absorbed very soon and it doesn’t leave any greasy residue behind.
The roll-on feels very soothing, and I use it on my feet for some relaxation on a long, tiring day. I prefer using circular motions while application which takes some time. So, I would prefer using a lotion instead. The product does give a spa-like effect to the skin. The gentle motion of the balls tones your skin and instantly hydrates it. You can use this for the whole body but, it does take a lot of time, and for the busy mornings, it is not a right product.
The cell-moisturisers in the roll-on moisturise and hydrate the skin effectively. They make my skin supple and smooth. My skin does dry out after 4-5 hours, so I need to reapply it again. The product doesn’t sting while application, and it soothes my freshly waxed skin really well. My leg looks supple and toned when compared to the other one, but I couldn’t see any huge difference. Overall, it is a good product. Even though I haven’t seen any firming or toning effect, I like the way it soothes my skin with the gentle massaging effect.
