I love Dove products so much that I always keep my eyes open for their new products. I found this brand-new product on the counter and could not help but pick it, in spite of it being a little pricey for a drugstore brand. Today’s review is about DermaSpa Pure Lightness Body Lotion.

My Experience with Dove DermaSpa Pure Lightness Body Lotion:
Packaging: I love the way it looks and feels from the outside. It has a very cute packaging. The casing is plastic but the soft matt kind of plastic. The finish of the bottle is mildly textured which provides a good grip. It feels so good to just hold it. The casing is mostly white with a light blue cap. The whole packaging feels very fresh. The packaging looks luxurious like very that of expensive brands. The top has a flap lid which opens and closes easily. The tube is not very huge. It’s a slender sleek tube with just 200 ml of product. It fits easily in a bag and doesn’t take too much of a space. The product is very mild but effective and extremely attractive.
Consistency: The body lotion is white in color with a creamy consistency. It is not very thick. The lotion spreads very easily over the skin and it gets absorbed within seconds. A little (compared to other lotions) amount was sufficient for my entire body. It does not leave a white film when applied.
Fragrance: The fragrance is so mild and pleasant. I feel it smells little florally, and the skin smells so good after applying it. I can assure you that most people will love the way it smells. It smells kind of floral and heavenly. The fragrance also lasts a few hours.
Feel: The body lotion leaves my skin silky smooth and soft. The lotion moisturizes my skin well. The product feels very light on the skin. It keeps me well moisturized during warm sweaty days. I don’t have to apply it more than once a day. The product does not cause any kind of irritation or redness. It’s suitable for sensitive skin. I do no think it will be enough for moisturizing during the colder months. I will use it only during the warmer months.
Overall, it’s a drugstore product, but the looks and results are that of a spa product. The pricing is a little high when compared to other drugstore body lotions, but it’s totally worth the price. I cannot recommend it enough.
