My Experience with Dove Environmental Defence Shampoo:

Like all the Dove shampoos, it comes in a nice white bottle with a green cap. The nozzle dispenses out perfect amount of product and it is not messy at all. It comes in various size options and these are easy to carry around. I really like this packaging. It’s simple and nice.

It has a transparent green gel-like smooth texture. It is slightly runny so you need to be careful. It has a very fresh and pleasant smell. The fragrance stays for some time on the hair. It has a nice natural scent, as the name suggests. I really like this fragrance.

It glides easily on my hair and lathers nicely. It feels light and fresh on hair. It doesn’t irritate my scalp. Also, it is so easy to rinse off. Since I have long hair, I need a little extra to create a nice lather. If I have oiled my hair, it requires two washes to clean it completely.

I have oily scalp and limp hair. I am always looking for some freshness and this shampoo does the job perfectly. It can clean all the oil and dirt from the roots of my hair. My hair feels soft and smooth after using it. Hence, it provides good hydration to the hair which keeps hair soft and healthy. I don’t have dry or damaged hair, but I feel that it will work well on dry hair too. It claims to repair dry and damaged hair. It works well on the rough texture and makes it smooth. It will work if your hair is not too damaged. I have normal hair and it provides me healthy smooth hair.

It never makes my hair look dull or frizzy. It keeps hair manageable but I always need to follow it with a conditioner. It can’t control frizz for long. It repairs hair texture and it is a pretty good shampoo. The hydration provided by this shampoo is enough for me. It can make hair soft and nourished. Hence, it acts well with a conditioner. It also keeps hair tangle free.

This shampoo never weighs down my hair and keeps my hair bouncy. Also, I haven’t noticed any extra hair fall after using this. But it can’t control hair fall. I am using it for over a month now and I didn’t notice any huge stunning result. But it’s a good shampoo for regular days.

Overall, this is a nice regular shampoo that works well on my normal hair. It helps to keep hair fresh and smooth. It repairs rough texture and makes hair healthy. I also love the scent. It is a good product for its price.
