Dove Go fresh
I won’t lie to you , I am a sucker for fresh fragrances but I seem to never find any good ones 🙁 , I thoughts perfumes could smell heavenly but then I had to deal with some really strong smelling ones and I have always been not impressed with the ones that I can afford and then one day a miracle happened 😀 I saw an Ad on Television for a fresh scent which claimed to be of things I love !! CUCUMBERS and Green tea , I was overjoyed and thanked god for finally listening to me and AHH my life has been fresh o lime fresh ever since .I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dove for making and even thinking about making such a scent which really smells like …feels like Fresh .It is the definition of the word fresh to be very honest . The minute I saw the bottle I was like “this is going to be epic fresh” and it was !! it actually smells a little sweet to and is not a strong scent . It smells like its name “cucumber and green tea”, the smell is of something very fresh , not empowering but flowing and very very soothing . I wanted to see the other smells to but I sniffed this and was won over 😀 .
The pack also says that it has no alcohol whatsoever and that it makes you stay fresh for 48hours ,below is the description on the bottle.
I am very scared of putting deodorants directly on my skin because I just feel they do some damage and generally they burn the skin . I put this deodorant directly on my skin and it fell sooooooooooo cold 😀 and fresh and amazing and the smell 😀 yum yum . Maybe I should not praise it sooo much because some people might not like it . so I should explain to you why I like it 🙂 . I like it because it is a simple fragrance , no musk , no flowers , no complexity , just a fresh scent which makes you feel fresh in heavy Delhi summers ☹ . if you like floral scent or perfumes which have beautiful and complex smells then you will not really fall in love with this as much as I have because it is such a simple fresh fragrance 🙂 .
Next is the packaging , It comes packed in a very travel friendly bottle , you can keep this in your bag if you travel a lot like me and just go phus phus whenever you feel a little tired because this will DEFINATELY wake you up . you don’t have to worry about it breaking or leaking because its metal and the cap if Very tight so it doesn’t come off easy . The bottle is a little curved in the above part( as you can see in the full picture) which makes it very easy to hold when you have sweaty hands 😛 or if you just come out of the shower 😀
The spray of the deodorant is also VERY handy because unlike the other deodorants with slippery sprays this one has a layer of rubber on it ( the green stuff just below my finger). The rubber helps in giving me more control .The bottle feels light when you take it up but when you shake it , it becomes very heavy , then you spray :D.
Now to the ingredients –
This is the part where I go WHAAT 😛 , I don’t even like to look at the ingredients 😛 they scare me but what the hell do you think will be in a deodorant ? one thing I am happy about is that it does not have any alcohol .

Cons of Dove Go Fresh Deodorent
Might get monotonous for people who like complex scents 🙂
– The fresh smell might not tick with some because of its subtlety
– The smell goes away within 20 minutes of application ( I do realize that your nose gets used to the scent thus can no pik up the smell after some time but my friends can’t smell it either ☹ it becomes very light like as light as unrecognizable light 🙁 ) I was so excited the first time I wore it I jumped at my friend I was like “ shweta shweta doesn’t it smell fresh” and she was like huh ?
Would I buy it again ? – yes but the different scent because I want to sniff the other Dove ones to 😀 . I don’t care if no one can smell it because I actually do fell fresh even when I can’t smell it after 20 minutes 😀 I don’t know how that happens but it does 😀
Did you try this one ? will you try it ? does the weird smell gone after 20 minutes only happen with me or you too please tell me .

if you liek flowery na then done try this one , because you wont really like it , try the ones from oriflame they are very flowery 🙂 you can sniff it before buying 😛 i sniff the whole shop . OHHH and also if you really liek flowery scent you can try out itrs ; oil based perfumes , there is this one with rose , ohmygod if you live in Delhi you should completely get it 😀

Devie it is THE deo for Indian summers 😛 this is just spray no powder turning magic tric with this 😛 and you know it dosent even sting if you put it after waxing 🙂 .

WOw Komal….it sounds so fresh fresh too. I had sniffed this in H&G store but the smell was so mild that I did not buy. I liked the fresh fragrance but the staying power is too less for me. :((

han Jinal woh toh hay problem with this when i apply it on my skin the smell goes away very easy , but i noticed that when i applied it on my clothes then it stayed for a longer time 🙂 i like Very mild smells na and no perfume can give me that smell and the ones that can cost a bomb :/ so i got this one 🙂 which ones are your fav ?

Komal, I bot the grapefruit and lemon grasss combo, its good but it evaporates within 15 mins….I thot it wud stay atleast for an hour……… I am kinda disappointed….but okay for Rs. 160 ….. hey thank you very much for your cetaphil review, its very delicate and good for sensitive skin…. :thanks:
