Dove Hair Therapy Intensive Repair Self Warming Hair Mask comes in a sealed package, which contains the 15ml conditioner and 5ml heating serum. The outer cover bears the entire product-related information while there is some basic information on the sachet. The 15ml pouch is more than enough for a couple of usages for my shoulder length hair.

Hair Mask: The hair mask is white in colour and has a creamy texture. It has a pleasant smell that is totally non-bothersome. The consistency is thick, but it spreads easily. The hair mask has to be applied to the mid-lengths of the hair and not on the roots. Once applied, the hair mask froths a bit and it makes my hair bouncy and soft while rubbing it onto the hair. Also, it acts a rich nourishment cream for the hair.

Heat Activating Serum: The Heat activating serum comes in a transparent hexagonal tube. At first, I cut the packet at the neck as I wanted to store it for the next time but, you can rip out the seal and use everything at once. The serum is runny and has the consistency of a hand sanitizer. It has no smell/fragrance. When you take it on your palm and start rubbing it onto your hair, it generates heat. However, the warmth stays hardly for a few seconds, so you need to work faster. The product has to be applied onto the roots. And, storing this serum can be a bit tricky as it doesn’t come with a stopper.

The 2-step treatment provides a spa-like effect to the hair. The product has to be left on your hair for around three minutes, and after the wash, the hair feels bouncy, softer and nourished. It makes my hair tangle free and restores the natural texture of my hair. I can just run my fingers through my hair without getting stuck in between. The hair mask doesn’t make the hair oily, and my hair looks soft and shiny for the next three days. It also adds a radiance and a natural bounce, which enhances the volume of my hair. I must say, it is one of the best hair treatments that I have ever tried, and I am sure that I would be stocking this hair mask a lot! The sachet makes the product travel-friendly. The product contains a lot of chemical ingredients, and I am not sure if it is good in the long run, but for the moment, I absolutely love how lustrous and bouncier it makes my dry, dull hair.
