Nowadays there are so many products with Argan oil; it’s hard to decide which one is the best till you try them all. I have recently developed this liking for argan oil products. I like the fragrance of argan oil and here is a review of one such body wash.

My Experience with Dove Nourishing Care Shower Oil:
This is a brand new Dove product which I am loving currently. The packaging is more like a body oil bottle. The transparent bottle is made out of plastic and is sturdy. The flip lid on top is very secure. The first time I tried to open it, I just could not. It was so tight. I had to ask my husband for help. This happened the first few times. When he was not around I used my teeth. But after using it for a few days it got little easier to open. But the good thing is it’s very safe to travel it. You can be assured that it will not leak. The bottle is slender and sleek.
The product is golden yellow in color and looks like oil. The consistency is also like that of oil. The fragrance is pretty strong. The argan oil dominated the fragrance and if you don’t prefer the smell of argan oil I suggest staying away from it.
The first time I used, I applied it on my wet body and was not sure how to work with it. It was very runny and didn’t know how much to use. So I took a little amount on my palm and started rubbing it on my body, to my surprise it turned in to lather. I continued throughout my body and then rinsed it off with warm water.
The first thing I noticed after washing away the product is that my skin felt so very moisturized. I felt there was a very thin film of oil. I loved the effect it had created. I even skipped the body lotion and my skin didn’t feel so dry. The thin oil layer doesn’t feel or look oily. I have dry skin and can’t go without body lotion or creams but with this the skin felt so soft and smooth after usage. Even though the product is slightly on the expensive side, it’s very effective. Overall I just love the product. It’s a different kind of experience and this has opened up my option of shower oil.

Cons of Dove Nourishing Care Shower Oil:
• Flap lid too tight for the initial few uses.
• You might not like the fragrance if you don’t prefer argan oil.

Will I Repurchase Dove Nourishing Care Shower Oil?
Sure. I love trying different body washes but this one struck the chord. I am loving the new experience with shower oil.
Do I Recommend Dove Nourishing Care Shower Oil?
If you haven’t tried shower oil then you should give it a go. Probably not during hot days but for cooler days you will be able to experience the goodness.
