I felt proud seeing it and I also love the fact that this product has coconut extracts. 😉 Being a South Indian I love coconuts and totally go for lotions which contain coconut extracts. My Experience with Dove Nourishing Secrets Glowing Ritual Body Lotion with Coconut Oil and Almond Milk:

This body lotion comes in a typical Dove body lotion packaging. I am not bored of their packaging and, in fact, I feel it’s quite good. Hence, I do not see any need to improve it. The packaging is sturdy and comes with a flap lid. The lid is very secure and safe to travel with. I normally prefer carrying something smaller, like a 100ml bottle, when I travel. This one comes in a standard 400ml packaging. The whole packaging is white in color with a picture of cracked open coconut on it.

The lotion itself is white in color and creamy in texture. It is not very thick. The lotion spreads very easily over the skin and gets absorbed within seconds. A little (compared to other lotions) amount is sufficient for my entire body. It does not leave a white film when applied. The fragrance is lovely. It smells of sweet coconuts. It’s not very strong but very noticeable. The fragrance does not last long on the skin.

If you are a coconut fan you will love it. If you hate coconut, please stay away from it. The fragrance reminded me of Balea body lotion with coconut extracts. The product also claims to contain almond milk but I could not feel the presence of it in any way. The body lotion leaves my skin silky, smooth and soft. The lotion moisturises my skin well. The product is targeted for all skin types and hence is suitable for my dry skin, too.

It keeps my skin well moisturised during cold winter days. I don’t have to apply it more than once a day. The product does not cause any kind of irritation or redness. It’s suitable for sensitive skin, too. This body lotion is a little expensive when compared to other Dove products but the results are great. Overall, I am totally satisfied with the results.
