My Experience with Dove Nourishing Secrets Glowing Ritual Body Lotion with Lotus Flower Extract and Rice Milk:
Dove Nourishing Secret Body Lotion comes in their usual long white bottle with a flower printed over it. This bottle is nice and good in quality. It is available only in the 250 ml size, so it is a little heavy to carry around. Even though it’s an affordable lotion, wish they offered more size options.
It is a medium creamy textured white lotion that glides smoothly on the skin and gets absorbed nicely as well. A little amount is sufficient for my skin. It feels comfortable and non-greasy – a property I always prefer in my lotions. The skin on my body is quite dry, so I always need extra hydration. I love to provide that perfect hydration to my skin, especially during this fall season.
The lotion claims that it’s for all skin types and it instantly provides a great relief to my dry, rough skin. My skin feels smooth and silky with a single use of this lotion. It heals dry areas and provides deep nourishment to the skin. It never feels heavy and does not make my skin sweaty. I am sure it will work perfectly during the cold season too.
It works so well to keep my skin moisturized throughout the day. It locks the hydration in and leaves my skin super soft. It turns the rough, dull texture into smooth and healthy texture. The lotion also adds a healthy glow to my skin. It actually performs well as a hydrating lotion and also keeps my skin fresh for long.
Its divine fragrance soothes my senses. This body lotion contains lotus flower extract and rice milk, so it has a beautiful fresh floral fragrance, just like the lotus flower. I personally love this smell. It is a beautiful smell that lasts long as well. The scent is fully floral and you cannot really sense rice milk in it.
I am not sure but it might feel a little heavy during super hot humid summer days, but for now, it is a perfect lotion as it repairs my skin and restores moisture. The softness lasts around 6-7 hours and my skin stays fresh for long. A reapplication is generally never required by me but one might have to reapply it on extremely dry skin. Still, I would say it’s a long-lasting lotion.
Overall, I love this body lotion, especially for its fresh floral scent. It is a good nourishing lotion that keeps skin soft and smooth for long and also repairs the dry texture. Wish it came with added SPF too. If you’re planning to buy a new lotion for winters, definitely give this one a try.
