My Experience with Dove Nourishing Secrets Relaxing Body Wash with Lavender Oil and Rosemary Extract:
The body wash comes in a typical Dove packaging. It comes in a white plastic bottle with a flip cap. There is a beautiful picture of lavender flowers on the packaging. It makes the bottle look very feminine. It’s handy and travel-friendly. The body wash is lavender in color.
I have always seen white body washes from Dove, which is a clear indication of no artificial coloring. The case here is different. The body wash looks stark lavender in color and I was surprised by this move. I am not really a fan of added colors, so that’s a negative for me. The wash is translucent, quite runny and creamy at the same time.
The product lathers very well and washes off easily too. The USP is the fragrance of the body wash. It smells totally like lavender. The fragrance is absolutely enchanting. It leaves the whole bathroom filled with this amazing fragrance. I could feel the fragrance even after the shower.
The fragrance makes this body wash suitable for warmer climates. Plus point from my side for the fragrance! It’s a must-have for lavender lovers. The product contains extracts of lavender and rosemary. Both of these products remind me of Italy and I feel the combination could not get better. I like this variant the best from this range.
A small amount is sufficient for my entire body. It lathers extremely well and leaves the skin very clean. My skin feels soft and smooth but slightly dry too. I have to use a moisturizer after the shower. I have sensitive skin and have not noticed any redness or adverse reaction on my skin due to the usage of this product. Overall, it’s a good drugstore body wash with an amazing fragrance.
