I had picked up a few hair care products from Dove and I did pick different varieties from the “Nourishing Secrets” range to get the maximum benefits out of all. Today’s review is all about Dove Nourishing Secrets Restoring Conditioner. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Dove Nourishing Secrets Restoring Conditioner:
The conditioner comes in a standard conditioner upside down package. There is a small flip cap, which closes with a click. The cap is pretty sturdy and there is no leakage. The product is also a good travel companion. All the necessary details about the product are given on the back. The product is inspired by the rituals of India and the main composition is coconut oil and turmeric. You can see their picture on the product.
The conditioner is white in color and is rich. It has a thick, creamy texture and feels like a rich cream. A little conditioner is enough to get the effective results. It smells like coconut and is very pleasant and sweet. The scent is not strong, but it is mild and it does linger around a bit after usage. All the products from this range with coconut and turmeric smell very similar.
One thing that intrigues me in this product is the usage of turmeric. We use turmeric as a hair removal tool and incorporation of this in a hair product was a bit different for me! The product is easy to spread and the usage is pretty easy. After rinsing off, I noticed that my hair was extremely soft and smooth. The product gently removes all the tangles and makes the hair manageable. You can feel a sense of fullness in the hair. The product when used in accordance with the shampoo is claimed to strengthen the hair too. I didn’t buy the shampoo, because I have noticed that use of coconut oil based shampoo makes my hair oilier than usual. However, this one doesn’t make my hair oilier and it also retains my waves. The conditioner, when used alone adds a little shine to the hair. The conditioner adds moisture to the hair and makes the hair look intensively nourished. I usually use the conditioner to my hair ends to get rid of the dryness. The product so far makes the hair nourished, but I would expect similar benefits from any other conditioner.
